Thought I'd share this article on the plastic water bottles we all have.

BPA, go away
BPA is b-a-d. Also known as Bisphenol A, it's, sadly, one of the world's most frequently produced chemicals ... think seven billion pounds per year. (Gulp.) It lurks in certain plastic products—including the lining of many canned foods—and then leaches into food and beverages.
You've probably heard ... the links to cancer, infertility. Now,
according to a recent survey of 1,455 adults, high BPA concentrations
are also linked to a two- to-three times increase in the odds of heart
disease and diabetes. Wowsie.
If you haven't already made the switch, it's time. Here, three things to keep in mind:
- At bare minimum, avoid plastic containers with the number 7 on the bottom, and look for ones that say "BPA free." Can't give up hard plastic? CamelBak sells a hard plastic water bottle that is BPA free.
- Use glass, porcelain or stainless steel containers whenever
possible, but particularly with hot foods or liquids. Check out these
glass food-storage containers from Pyrex and Klean Kanteen's stainless-steel water bottles.
- Stock up on fresh or frozen foods,
and steer clear of most food packaged in cans or plastic. Milk and
soups packaged in cardboard "brick" cartons are safer. As for canned
foods, you're safe with Eden Organic. Their foods are packaged in cans with a BPA-free lining.
I'm going to look on ebay for a SIGG waterbottle. Maybe I can find one cheaper. Do any of you own one those?
