Here's a great step by step tutorial I found on youtube for making a new sew fleece blanket.  I thought this would be helpful since I've noticed a lot of questions in our group about these cozy, easy to make, and inexpensive gifts!

I hope you all find this helpful! Happy Crafting!

I would love to make these for gifts all year long but how much fleece do you need? I wanted to make one asap for a friends daughter that has to go in the hospital and she's still a baby so I don't need a huge one. Any ideas??

That is a great idea to use the sport teams.  These would be great for Teachers too.  Thanks for the idea and the video.

for a brand new baby i would say a yard on top and a yard on bottom should be plenty

I went to joanns to buy some fleece to make a football team blanket and pillow for my hubby and it was gonna cost me $75 for all the material I needed! I couldn't believe it. Any cheaper place to buy team fleece??
