I am on Birth control but with my boys I feel very tired and poor. Right now even though I have always dreamed of a big family and a little girl , I dont want anymore kids as of today.  My oldest turned 3 and my baby is 18 months.  I am 30.

So birth control gets dangerous as I get older and I would rather not be on it.

How do I know its time to ask DH to get snipped?  I mean I know he would do it before getting my tubes tied we have already talked about it.

What if I change my mind?

have you thought of using a birth control with low hormone? the Iud Mirena is GREAT I had it for a year and its really low hormone. Best part is you can keep it in for as long as 5 years!

I would sit down with DH and talk to him about it and see what he thinks. Make the decision as a couple. Don't assume he feels the same way you do.

Good luck in whatever you choose!

I'm thinking of going on that, but have to do some good research first.

I think the best thing you can do right now is sit down with your hubby and discuss..everything.. like how you both feel now how you both think you will feel in the future.  You will no its time when you both agree it time i guess.

What about the paraguard non-hormonal IUD? its for 10 years.

Not trying to hate, just educate. Just because its my opinion, doesn't mean I think I know whats best for you. Its just another perspective.

A vasectomy can be reversible so if you want talk a urologist about it. Then you and the hubby can decide
