Hey everyone. I am a first time mom at the age of 36. Sam and I have been married for 13 years, and it took that long of saying maybe in a few years we'll have a kid to finally say we better now before it's too late! Tess entered our world on Nov 9th, 2007. I was diagnosed with preeclampsia (pregnancy induced high blood pressure) the day before and delivered her by c-section.
She was born in northeast, GA at 1:34 am 11/9/07 weighing 2 lbs, 15 oz. She stayed in the NICU ward for exactly 4 weeks. No health issues besides the low weight. She's a thriver.
Sam and I both hail originally from SC. We've lived in west Texas, Colorado, and the Atlanta suburbs for 3 years now. He's an electrical engineer and I am a reporting analyst.
I'm a working mom with a long commute. Tess is in a Primrose School, which I love!
Top 5 things I love - chocolate, cats, playing cards, math puzzles, and hiking
Top 5 things I hate - roaches, bad drivers, seafood, politics, and hot humid weather

So she would have been a vampire, huh? Well, now, we all know what you didn't give up for Lent that year. <[:O) Happy Merry Everything!
Yeah, unfortunately, I live on the OTHER side of Washington. The stupid desert. Where it's hotter than hell (haha) in the summer and effing COLD in the winter. We get almost no snow, hardly any rain, like two thunderstorms.... nothing. It's stupid and boring.
I like the weather to change. I like rainy day & white Christmases, I like all night thunderstorms with down pours and fork lightening. This place SUUUCKS. lol
I agree though, the other side of the state is AWESOME. I miss it.
Yeah, they are all small. The town we live in has a population of 1100 or so. I've lived in small towns my whole life, so I like them.
