Hello All,

 I just wanted to let everyone know how I feel about Christmas!  I am a mom of 3 and every year we always seem to get caught up in the "christmas spirit", instead of the Christmas Spirit!!!  I am one of the many that does, but I am trying to teach my children that we shouldn't be that way!!  One of the reasons that got me thinking about it is that we don't have tons of money this year to spend on Christmas, and we had to explain that to our children.  We told them that Christmas is about the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ, and that is where Christmas comes from!!  Although we have always taught our children this, and we always wish Jesus a happy birthday, this year we are trying to embrace it even more and get them to understand exactly what Jesus did in his life!!  That Jesus was born to die for our sins!!  I often think about how it must have felt for Mary to know that she was carrying God in her belly, to feel him move, and then give birth to him, knowing that he truly 100% came from God!  That Joseph didn't put that baby there or any other man!! 

I think about the fact, that Jesus was a child just like we all were and Mary fixed his boo boos when he was a little boy, just like we fix our childrens boo boos, and he cried, laughed, and played  just like we do!!  He walked this earth just like us and he knew at such a young age what he was put on this earth for.  He even knew that he would die, FOR ALL OF US!!!  I sometimes forget that he felt things just like we do, and lived just like us!!  I just wanted to praise God for sending his one and only Son Jesus Christ to die for our sins, and as long as we believe in him that we will go to Heaven!!  Isn't that Great!!  Just a thought as everyone is getting ready to celebrate Christmas!!  Merry Christmas to everyone and your families, and have a Happy New Year!!
