I know I am probably spoiled & somewhat materialistic but I enjoy getting gifts and I enjoy being taken out and pampered. When I say pampered I DO NOT mean spa treatments & such. There is no way I would let some woman dig into my deep tissue and screw with my cuticles. I actually hate people touching me so thankfully Orion does not try to give me such "gifts" as spa treatments. With that being said I LOVE getting stuff. I LOVE going out to somewhat expensive places to eat. I LOVE romantic strolls along the beach.
This Mother's Day Orion & the boys pulled it all together and gave me an awesome weekend. Friday Orion was so excited about the gift he gave me that he had to let me open it as soon as I got home from work. I can't say it was a surprise since we had discussed which model I would like but I was still SO EXCITED!!!!!!! This camera is awesome. I plan to take a digital photography course to really learn all the features.

At school Noah made me a hand print in clay shaped like a heart. It came with a little poem about little handprints on the walls that we yell at the kids for making but their little hands won't be little for long. The damn poem made me cry. He also made me a beautiful card w/ his photo on it. His most proud treasure that he made me was a brooch. They made them out of puzzle pieces glued together then topped it with pearls. It was beautiful.
Little Bailey made me a card and a paper flower dipped in food coloring. He also made me a handprint in clay & jewels. He took my flower away from me & gave it to Orion tho, lol, little bugger.
My Aaron did not make anything in class. They are too old I suppose. My little angel actually used his own money to buy me a card and a box of chocolates. He also bought me a beautiful photo frame that says MOM & LOVE. I will place a photo of Aaron & myself in it & treasure it forever. My little angel baby bear....
Sunday we slept in LATE!!!! 9:30!!!! We never sleep past 7am. So that was awesome to begin with. Then ,even tho Orion is in a boot & crutches for his poor broken ankle , we went to Ventura Harbor and spent the entire day shopping, eating, & relaxing. The weather was gorgeous and we just took the time to stroll through the shops and sample yummy treats. Orion & I bought some naughty Kama Sutra oils and then he bought me a cowgirl hat which I am only to wear in the bedroom. LOL

We ended the day with dinner at a beautiful water front restaurant in Channel Islands. Orion & I both had the fresh salmon and it was delicious. The kids has shrimp, which were huge!!, and pasta. At the end of the meal I was given a rose by the waiter. It was absolutely perfect! I cannot thank Orion & the boys enough. I am truly loved.
Even my ex husband called to wish me a happy Mother's Day. How sweet!
