‘Snow White’ Star Rachel Zegler Under Fire for Vulgar Anti-Trump Rant

Angry Donald Trump supporters are calling for outspoken actress Rachel Zegler to be fired from the upcoming live action remake of Snow White — or at the very least, for people to boycott the film.

Screenshots of the 23-year-old star’s anti-Trump Instagram rant have been making the rounds on social media this week, prompting critics to urge Disney to can its rising star.

“I find myself speechless in the midst of this,” Rachel began a lengthy postelection message sharing her disappointment in the “sheer amount of people who showed up for this man who threatens our democracy.”

Rachel lamented a “deep, deep sickness in this country” and expressed hope that “Trump supporters and Trump voters and Trump himself never know peace.”

She later said she was aware that people on X were angry over her comments and urged users to stop using the platform, which is owned by Trump surrogate and donor Elon Musk.

“F— Donald Trump,” her message appears to end, based on screenshots of the since-expired Stories.

While Rachel ultimately issued an apology, her critics were — and continue to be — upset.

“@rachelzegler is an untalented, hateful piece of human debris,” wrote one X user who read Rachel’s posts.

Others aimed their frustration at Disney and vowed to boycott the March 2025 release of Snow White.

“Not taking my kids to see this trash after the statement you put out,” declared another X user, urging Disney to “do something about this.”

“I never thought that we’d reach a point where a literal Disney princess would purposefully use words like ‘f—’ in a public statement, but here we are,” said another.

Right-wing MAGA pundit Megyn Kelly called for Rachel to be fired from the project.

Rachel posted on Instagram Thursday night that she’s sorry for letting her emotions get the best of her, while defending her right to have an opinion.

“Hatred and anger have caused us to move further and further away from peace and understanding,” she wrote. “I am sorry I contributed to the negative discourse.”

Many X users had previously expressed displeasure about the upcoming remake, which breaks with tradition and uses a largely minority cast, led by Rachel, who’s Latina.

The Walt Disney Co. could not immediately be reached for comment Thursday regarding the reactions to Rachel’s posts.
