Among many, many other things, Elon Musk has been noted for the number of children he’s fathered. The confirmed number is 12 with three different women. The rumored number is 13 with four.
Newsweek reported how Ashley St. Clair — a conservative influencer and author of Elephants Are Not Birds, a children’s book that she has described as an “unapologetic rebuke” of “transgender acceptance” — announced on February 14 that she gave birth to Musk’s baby five months ago.
St. Clair explains that she made this public announcement to ensure the baby wasn’t exposed by the “tabloid media … regardless of the harm it will cause,” Newsweek states.

Forbes continues to report how Musk has yet to directly respond to the 26-year-old’s claims via the platform, or to make a public statement either confirming or denying that the child is his.
However, Musk has commented on the posts of other X users regarding the matter: According to The Independent, one person found and screenshotted an old tweet from St. Clair jokingly proclaiming that she wanted a marriage proposal from Musk. Musk’s comment to this was “Whoa.”
In an exclusive interview with the New York Post, St. Clair describes her romance with Musk blossomed until she became pregnant. “I was told to keep it a secret,” St. Clair said. “I was being asked to keep it a secret forever.”
New York Post notes how St. Clair declined to provide a reason for this confidentiality, or proof that the Musk is the confirmed biological father. Neither Musk nor his representatives have provided comment on St. Clair’s claims as of the publishing of this report.
