Christine Brown Suggests There’s ‘A Lot of Speculation’ About Kody’s Sexual Experience

Christine Brown isn’t so sure that her ex-husband Kody Brown waited until marriage to be physically intimate with Robyn Brown. During Sister Wives: One on One on Sunday, June 15, Kody hinted at his “wild” past, but insisted that it was mostly just “Mormon naughty.” However, Christine suggested that there’s “a lot of speculation” when it comes to Kody’s “sexual experience.”

Kody described what ‘Mormon naughty’ entails.

During the episode, host Sukanya Krishnan spoke about the “sexual experience” Kody had in college that conflicted with his “religious values.” Kody seemed to deny having had “any other sexual experiences” prior to marriage. However, he did acknowledge that “there were other options that got close.”

While in high school, Kody was an athlete. During this time, he was “Mormon naughty.” According to Kody, “Mormon naughty” means that he would “kiss and hug” but did not have sexual intercourse. After being pressed to clarify exactly what counted as sexual intercourse, he later ended the conversation “out of respect for [his] wife.”

“You guys can act like it’s the world’s business,” he said, adding that the conversation “crossed the line.”

Christine seemed skeptical.

Christine, who left Kody in 2021, seemed to suggest that Kody and Robyn might’ve been more than “Mormon naughty” before they officially tied the knot. “We’ve all seen their engagement photos and I just automatically think, ‘Huh, I wonder how close they got before they were married,'” she said.

When asked to describe what she meant and why she felt that way, Christine was somewhat vague. She said Kody and Robyn might’ve had “sexual experience, whatever that means” before getting married. “He was super comfortable in her house, even walking into her bedroom,” she said. “That’s a lot of speculation.”

Janelle said Kody and Robyn ‘had a very long courtship.’

By their standards, Kody and Robyn spent a decent amount of time getting to know each other before getting married. What made it weird is that Kody already had three other wives at the time. “It is not really appropriate for a married man to have a long courtship,” Janelle said on the show. She recalled how Kody and Robyn “had a very long courtship compared to the rest of us,” and it lasted “for almost a year.”

If Janelle had had the same amount of time to get to know Kody, she probably wouldn’t have married him. “I might have seen him for a little bit more of who he was, you know what I mean?” Janelle said. “Gotten sort of off the charm ride.”

Robyn denied having sex with Kody before marriage.

When asked about Kody’s alleged “sexual experience,” Kody’s current wife said that everything they did prior to marriage could be done “in front of your pastor, your Bishop or something.”

“He didn’t kiss me until he asked me to marry him,” Robyn said. The kiss “wasn’t anything super sexy.” After the proposal, “there were chaste kisses, little church kisses,” but nothing more.
