Trump Tries To Drag AOC & Jasmine Crockett Then Accidentally Roasts Himself

When President Donald Trump thought he was burning Congresswomen Jasmine Crockett and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, he inadvertently insulted himself, and everyone is talking about it. Maybe if you ask Trump’s most dedicated supporters they would still be in his favor. However, you can’t really make excuses for him after he made jokes about AOC and Crockett’s IQ scores.

Per HuffPost, when Trump spoke to reporters on the White House lawn on July 15, 2025, he made jokes about both Democrat Congresswomen’s intelligence. He said that they should take the same “IQ” test he took at Walter Reed Medical Center.

The problem? He didn’t actually take an IQ test at the hospital, but instead took the Montreal Cognitive Assessment competency test. Honestly, the jokes just write themselves at this point.

Trump’s comments about AOC and Jasmine Crockett’s IQ scores backfired on him.

When he spoke with reporters, Trump was quick to make jabs at both Ocasio-Cortez and Crockett, who have been vocal with their opposing views and concern about Trump’s decisions as president.Β

“AOC, look, I think she’s very nice. But she’s very low-IQ, and we really don’t need low-IQ,” Trump said. “Between her and Crockett, we’re going to give them both an IQ test to see who comes out best.”

He added, “Now, I took my test. I took a real test at Walter Reed Medical Center and I aced it. I got every one of all those questions right.”

After a clip of Trump’s comments began circulating on social media, people were quick to call out the president for the irony of his jab at the congresswomen. While he had clearly meant to insult their intelligence, he made fun of himself in confusing one mental medical test for another.

While an IQ test does evaluate an individual on their intelligence, MoCA is used to determine if someone has signs of cognitive impairment, such as dementia. We all know how old Trump is, but clearly he aged himself with this one.

Someone responded to Trump’s comments on X (formerly Twitter) and wrote: “Trump truly believes that a cognitive test designed to detect dementia and Alzheimer’s is an IQ test. And MAGA loves his stupidity.”

Another one of Trump’s critics pointed out: “Trump never took an IQ test. He took a dementia screening test. I would really love to see him take a real IQ test though, one that we all could see, not just his retelling of how he ‘aced it.'”

Another user on X took it a step further when they pointed out who Trump appears to single out with his criticisms.

“Trump conflating a competency test with an IQ test,” they wrote. “Also, worth pointing out that Trump is always most obsessed with IQ when he’s talking about women of color.”

Trump spoke about the MoCA test before.

It’s true that Trump may have taken an IQ test at some point. However, many believe he was actually referring to his MoCA test because he spoke publicly about it in April 2025. At the time, he claimed he “got the highest mark” possible with the test.

He even told reporters that the doctor told him he had never seen anyone get such a high result. For the MoCA test, mind you, not an IQ test.
