Karoline Leavitt Claims It Was Trump’s Idea for Cracker Barrel To Keep old Logo

No amount of emojis in Karoline Leavitt‘s social media posts can house the fact that some people are not here for her social media strategy. So when she posted on X (formerly Twitter) to seemingly take credit on Donald Trump’s behalf for Cracker Barrel‘s logo, it was a bit much. Just in case you are out of the loop, or you know, don’t care about the logo of a franchise restaurant, the CEO announced a major change in it.

According to CBS News, the restaurant chain changed the logo that has long included a farmer leaning against a barre next to the name of the restaurant. The change took the farmer away and, apparently, people were not happy.

Who knew this would be something to bring people together? Not long after the public outcry, USA Today reported that the restaurant changed its new logo back to the original. Now, Leavitt believes that Trump’s complaints had something to do with that. Sure, Jan.

Karoline Leavitt thinks Donald Trump had a hand in Cracker Barrel’s decision.

On Aug. 26, 2025, Leavitt shared an X post with a link to a Fox News post about Cracker Barrel going back on the logo change and promising to change it back. At the same time, Leavitt shared a screenshot of a post from Trump on Truth Social where he said Cracker Barrel’s logo should go back to its original version.

Leavitt wrote, “8 hours ago…” with a smiling sunglasses emoji. The meaning here is clearly that Trump’s post about Cracker Barrel is what prompted the CEO to make the change. No one is here to dispute the power that POTUS has, but did he really convince the company to make such a drastic change all on his own with a social media post?

While some X users commended the president for what they believe to be his hand in making that decision and convincing Cracker Barrel executives to change the logo back, others weren’t so sure.

“Do we really have a president of the United States getting involved in a restaurant’s logo?” Someone wrote under Leacvitt’s post. “I guess he really doesn’t  have anything else to do. Dumbest president ever.”

In Trump’s Truth Social post that Leavitt shared with her X post, he wrote that Cracker Barrel could be a “winner again” if the logo was changed back to its original version. He also added that he essentially did the same by making America the “hottest” country in the world.

For what it’s worth, Cracker Barrel shared a post on Facebook with an official statement about going back to its original logo.

“We thank our guests for sharing your voices and love for Cracker Barrel. We said we would listen, and we have,” the statement said. “Our new logo is going away and our “Old Timer” will remain. At Cracker Barrel, it’s always been — and always will be — about serving up delicious food, warm welcomes, and the kind of country hospitality that feels like family.”
