Apparently the fact that three of his wives left him is not deterring women from wanting to marry Kody Brown. According to the Sister Wives star, women are still reaching out to him to express interest in joining his family. And while his only remaining wife, Robyn, doesn’t exactly agree with their approach, she truly believes that her husband is a catch. Given that he’s already been married to several women, Robyn says women must think he’s “marriage material” — because that’s how it works, right?
Kody said he’s received emails from women.
On the November 2 episode of Sister Wives, Kody made it clear that he received yet another email from a woman who seemed interested in joining his family. He claimed the woman was both hitting on him and calling him out. In her email, she was “kind of chastising me for deciding to quit plural marriage,” he said. But in addition to critiquing Kody’s life choices, she also expressed interest in getting to know Kody and Robyn “for the purpose of joining the family.”
Robyn was interested at first, but also found the email ‘inappropriate.’
Robyn had no issue with the woman expressing interest in joining their family, but she was bothered by the fact that she reached out to Kody directly. “I find it very inappropriate that they would send it to Kody,” she admitted. “It’s not usually proper to go hitting on a guy. You have to go through the sister wives.”
In spite of the woman’s problematic approach, Robyn admitted she was kind of interested at first. “For a split second, I think, ‘Oh, wouldn’t this be great? This is what I’ve always wanted for my life,'” she said.
Kody claimed that he’s had multiple women express interest in him.
According to him, he’s received “a lot of letters” from women asking him to “reconsider plural marriage.” At this point, however, Kody claims he doesn’t want to know if other women are interested in him. “Who doesn’t like a little bit of attention?” he said. “But at the same time, it’s like, that’s a craziness that I don’t want to indulge.”
In spite of his claims that several women have reached out to him, Kody previously insisted that he “was never a ladies’ man.” At the time, Robyn disagreed and said “most people” would think of him as a ladies’ man because he had four wives.
And she clearly still thinks her husband is desirable. “When a young woman sees a married, stable man, that is attractive,” she said of her husband, who she previously described as “yummy.” She went on to say, “He’s figured out some of his bullcrap. He’s got a wife that’s happy and he knows how to be a dad. I mean, like, I’m sorry, but that’s going to make any girl’s eggs drop. Any young woman would be like, oh, he is marriageable material because he’s already married.”
