Did you have Five Nights at Freddy’s being included in the released Epstein files on your 2026 bingo card, because I absolutely did not. Yes, the popular video game and movie franchise, also referred to as FNAF, is part of some of the emails and links in the files, which are available to view on the Department of Justice’s website, provided that you are 18 years old.
Just in case you don’t want to search through the files yourself, though, users on Reddit and Bluesky have shared details on Epstein’s apparent search histories involving 4chan and FNAF and alleged FNAF fan-made adult content. If that isn’t bad enough, one user on TikTok shared screenshots of emails that prove Epstein also discussed FNAF characters with other people online. Talk about sullying something that literal kids enjoy.

In the Bluesky post about the Epstein files and emails found from Epstein to other people, whose names are redacted, he shared 4chan links related to adult content created using FNAF characters. The post even shows a screenshot from a message board that Epstein sent to someone in one of his emails. It certainly isn’t the worst thing to show up in the released files, but it’s definitely one of the unexpected connections that no one thought to look for.
Some of the replies to the Bluesky post questioned the content that Epstein allegedly found on 4chan. Others commented on how dark it is to imagine the financier using the adult content from a kids’ game in such an inappropriate way.
“Maybe I’m just jaded, but why are so many acting like THIS is the thing that broke the camel? One user wrote. “Weird-ass creepy sh-tholes doing weird-ass creepy sh-thole things on the internet. Doesn’t shock me.”
The content shown in the Epstein files from emails that was later shared in screenshots on 4chan show Epstein sending specific links of FNAF characters engaging in sexual acts. It’s not totally clear how he originally found the gifs he sent to his then-girlfriend, Karyna Shuliak, but they are right there in the DOJ files.
On the Reddit thread about Epstein’s roundabout connection to FNAF, someone pointed out, “If you’re a franchise with a good chunk of your fandom consisting of minors, you’re gonna have a bunch of creeps slithering around.”
That might be true, but it doesn’t make it any less icky and uncomfortable that there is proof of Epstein sharing gifs and other adult content related to the game that would eventually spawn a movie franchise. Given Epstein’s apparent 4chan usage, now, people are wondering how closely tied he might have been to helping start 4chan conspiracies that once took hold of conspiracy theorists.
“So we can assume Qanon, pizzagate, and other conspiracies were purposely started by the billionaire pedos, to rile up the masses against each other,” someone said on the Reddit thread.
I don’t know about all of that, but Epstein having a stronghold on 4chan while secretly emailing adult content he found on the platform to other people is just a lot to take in. Also, why did that guy use emails so much as his primary form of communication?
