It has to be said that Erika Kirk‘s trolls and haters have no chill. They truly have no issue with poking fun at her any chance they get, but when she was in public and appeared to put tear solution in her eyes, where she could be clearly seen by other people, she sort of had it coming. You’d think she would be careful to not do anything that might even seem a tad bit controversial.
In a video that has gone viral on X (formerly Twitter), Erika appears to put tear solution in her eyes backstage at a Turning Point USA event. The video is from October 2025 at a University of Mississippi event for the organization in honor of Charlie Kirk. But the video of what many believe to be a conspiracy come to life of Erika faking her tears is back on social media.

In the video, which includes other clips of Erika crying or, according to some, faking her tears, she puts drops of something into her eyes before she goes on-stage to greet a crowd of supporters. To be fair, the little vial she’s holding could be eye drops to help with actual tears that might have made her eyes dry and red from actually crying. But Erika’s critics weren’t having it when they reacted to the footage.
“She isn’t that great cause most of us don’t believe her bulls–t fake tears,” someone wrote in response to the video on X. Someone else called her an “Academy Award winner.”
Others called out people for their claims regarding the conspiracy that Erika fakes her tears at public events. But this is one idea that not many are ready to let go of when it comes to Charlie’s widow. Whether or not the little bottle in her hand is Visine or tear solution, to induce tears and help her cry on camera and in front of people for the right effect, Erika’s haters are here to speculate.
Erika Kirk has also been targeted because of her outfit choices after Charlie Kirk’s death.
Maybe it’s because there are a lot of people who don’t like, or don’t trust, Erika, but another thing that has made her a target for fodder is her outfit choices. When she appeared at a Turning Point USA’s AmericaFest in December 2025 and wore a glittery pantsuit, the image of her in that outfit on-stage was shared across social media in droves.
She was also blasted for wearing white to Charlie’s televised funeral service. And in response to the X post about Erika’s alleged tear solution, someone was quick to point out her outfit at that event.
“Tight leather pants with some eye drops to make the rock show look more sad,” they wrote.
