Former 19 Kids and Counting star Joseph Duggar is now facing additional charges and in a huge update, his wife, Kendra Duggar, has been arrested and charged, according to authorities
The update came on Friday, March 20, from a press release issued by the Tontitown Police Department.
According to the report, both Joseph and Kendra are facing four counts of “endangering the welfare of a minor in the second degree and four counts of false imprisonment in the second degree.”
Arrest warrants for the misdemeanor charges were issued and served through court.
Kendra was arrested and booked in Fayetteville, Arkansas shortly before 5 p.m. and was released just after 6 p.m. that same evening, authorities shared via local news outlet KARK.
“As a result of the continuing investigation, additional charges have been filed in this case against Joseph Duggar, 31, and Kendra Duggar, 27,” local news outlet KARK reported.
These charges are unrelated to what Joseph Duggar was arrested for earlier this week, reports note.
According to Page Six, local police in Arkansas told the publication that these charges in Arkansas are not related to the molestation charges Joseph’s facing in Florida. an Arkansas local, police have confirmed that the Duggars’ charges in Arkansas are “unrelated” to Joseph’s case in Florida.
However, these charges come after a separate investigation was launched following Joseph’s alleged incident in Florida.
On March 18, Joseph was charged by the Bay County Sheriff’s Office in Florida in connection to an alleged incident involving a 9-year-old girl that is reported to have happened in 2020 during a family vacation in Panama City Beach.

According to a notice shared on Facebook, the young girl, who is now 14-years-old reported to authorities that “several incidents involving Duggar [had] occurred during a family vacation in Panama City Beach when she was 9 years old.”
Joseph Duggar was arrested in on molestation charges in Arkansas, but is expected to be extradited to Florida, where the alleged incidents took place. According to People, Kendra will face her hearing on March 23 at 7:45 a.m., and will be due in court again on April 29 at 2:00 p.m. Joseph and Kendra married in 2017 and share three children together.
