Mom Told Dispatch ‘She Needs a Hearse’ After Allegedly Killing Daughter & Blaming Elon Musk

A Wisconsin mother called a nonemergency number on March 20, 2026, with a bizarre request. She allegedly told the Rock County Communications Center that she’d murdered her daughter. A dispatcher reportedly kept 41-year-old Tyiece Oninski on the phone for 13 minutes as she told a truly disturbing story. When deputies arrived at her home in the town of Turtle, they found 14-year-old Kuren Rein deceased. She appeared to have endured a violent death at the hands of the mother, whose reasoning truly makes no sense.

Oninski’s call apparently signaled multiple red flags.

According to court documents obtained by WMTV, Oninski called the nonemergency line to report Kuren’s death. She reportedly told dispatchers she murdered Kuren to “protect her from somebody else, period.” After some prodding, she allegedly admitted that the person she feared would hurt her daughter was Elon Musk. Dispatchers asked Oninski if she needed an ambulance, to which she allegedly replied, “She’s dead, honey. She needs a hearse.”

Police responded to the call just before 8 a.m.

Per a release from the Rock County Sheriff’s Office, deputies and officers from multiple police departments arrived at the home in the 2000 block of East Gorton Street a few minutes before 8 a.m. WMTV reported that police found Kuren’s body with deep stab wounds on her neck, wrists, and cheek, as well as multiple other cuts. Investigators reportedly noticed barefoot prints on the ground and bloodstains on Oninski’s foot.

She appeared to be under the influence.

Emergency responders took Oninski to an area hospital where she allegedly tested positive for benzodiazepines, amphetamines, and THC, WMTV reported. The mother also apparently expressed disappointment that she was not in the news.

We have to believe that no mother in their right mind would stab their child in such a brutal way.

Loved ones want to support Kuren’s big brother during this really tough time.

According to a Facebook post, Xavier Elmhorst did not live with his mother and sister but was very close to Kuren. Loved ones created a GoFundMe account for him to help him get by.

Yesterday my son’s best friend Xavier Elmhorst (who lives with me) got the horrific news that his baby sister was taken from him forever at the hands of the very person who gave them life, was supposed to protect them and shelter them from the evils in the world,” Meredith Lea Jacobson wrote on Facebook. “As a mom, and as his surrogate mom, I am shook,”

They’ve raised more than $19,000 thus far.

Kuren was a beloved child whose death should never have happened this way.

“Kuren was a bright spirit that lives on in the hearts and memories of her loved ones. A loving friend, sister, niece, and so much more to others that will be missed dearly,” her obituary reads.

Oninski faces a charge of first-degree intentional homicide in her daughter’s tragic death, WMTV reported.

How do you kill your own child, and what must she have thought in her final moments? It’s too horrific to imagine.
