Maybe it’s because Donald Trump is slowly but surely pushing 80, or because he has so many critics. But, somewhere along the way, people began to claim that he wears diapers and that he has issues controlling his bowel movements. So when 60 Minutes released an image of Trump from an interview on the long-running show, a user on TikTok posted it and speculated on what the larger region of Trump’s pants might be an indication of.
In the photo, it certainly looks like there is some extra padding or something in Trump’s pants. But some people believe the photo is evidence that Trump has a colostomy bag. That could be a stretch, considering if that was true, wouldn’t it have been verified by now? Then again, people are still saying that Trump defecates in his pants, so there’s that.
Professionals think they know why Trump’s pants look like that.

The TikTok user who shared the image released by 60 Minutes says in his video, “Now, 60 Minutes released this photo of Trump. What do y’all notice? Tell me…what do you notice?” Just in case you worried people would be shy about their assumptions and the rumors about Trump and his bathroom habits, no one cared to spare the president’s feelings in the comment section.
“I work in a nursing home. That’s a colostomy bag,” someone immediately commented.
In response to that, another user pointed out that the bag would not be on Trump’s backside. According to the Cleveland Clinic, a colostomy bag is most commonly placed near the abdomen. If Trump has one, it probably isn’t around his waist and near his lower back, as the bulge is depicted in the photo.
However, others users still believe that something is going on with the photo, because it looks off.
Especially because, someone claimed in the comments, “I’ve literally got a bag that is not how it sits.” So maybe the argument isn’t that Trump’s alleged colostomy bag is positioned on his lower back, but that it looks that way when he’s sitting down and the rumored bag is bunched up around his body.
Others are calling it a “full diaper.”

Other users in the comments under the video wrote that the bulky pants means Trump is wearing an actual diaper in the photo. Again, this isn’t something that has ever been confirmed by Trump or those close to him. Why would they? But the rumors keep coming, especially for those who don’t believe for a second that Trump is as healthy as he claims to be.
“I’m a mother. That’s a full diaper,” a user commented on the TikTok.
Someone else replied to that user with, “I’m not a mother and that’s what I thought.”
“A full ear and a full Depends,” another added, in reference to Trump’s once-bangaded ear after his assassination attempt, and, of course, the adult diaper brand.
This isn’t the first time people had poop jokes and theories about Trump.
The 60 Minutes photo isn’t the first chance people got to claim that Trump wears diapers, that he has fecal accidents, and that he has no control over using the bathroom as a whole. He was accused of defecating himself in January 2025. A year later, people speculated about the same thing, and that Trump had an accident while on-camera with the press.
But no one attached to the Trump Administration has come out to admit to the rumors of diapers, fecal accidents, and Trump’s potentially declining health as the oldest sitting president. For now, all they have are the rumors that keep coming out in spades.
