‘Hell on Wheels’ Killer Has Racked Up 23 Prison Violations & She’s Making Prison Officials’ Lives Miserable

If you haven’t watched the Netflix documentary The Crash, stream it right now. We’ll wait. Finished? Perfect. Now that you’re caught up on the trainwreck that is Mackenzie Shirilla and the last four years of her life, we’ve got even more scoop on Miss “Hell on Wheels.” She was only 17 when she crashed her car into a wall, killing her boyfriend, Dominic Russo, and their friend, Davion Flanagan. How she survived is a mystery, but many people, including a judge in Ohio, believe she intentionally murdered Russo and Flanagan. She’ll spend at least the next 15 years in prison. But according to some of her former inmates, she’s not behaving and won’t be out any time soon.

Shirilla’s apparently quite the flirt in prison.

According to court documents obtained by the New York Post, those who knew Shirilla behind bars say she’s got a bit of a “Girls Gone Wild” vibe, which seems bizarre for prison.  She allegedly altered her prison-issued apparel to make it sexier and made cosmetics and jewelry. At one point, Shirilla’s provocative prison wardrobe garnered her a dress code violation.

This was reportedly the third time the officer saw Shirilla dressing in contraband clothing. He cited her for sexual harassment, per court documents, “for intentionally coming to another unit inappropriately dressed, potentially exposing herself to staff…[in] a, derogatory or offensive sexual nature.”

Shirilla evidently clapped back, saying, “If he got a boner from the way I’m dressed, that’s his fault.”

Shirilla’s seen plenty of drama in prison.

Former inmates claim Shirilla’s engaged in sexual activity with another inmate, something she vehemently denied. “I did not allow her to touch me, and I have never had a sex ticket, and this is not me,” she said.

During a video visit, she allegedly showed her breast to the other person, according to a guard. The unnamed visitor reportedly also showed her breast and “with a dildo sticking out of her pants twice,” the report noted.

Shirilla lost video visits for 60 days after the violation.

Shirilla apparently filled her cell with contraband.

She was busted for having dyed bras and Nikes, stolen arts and craft supplies, and “mixed pills,” according to documents. That led to 60 days of restricted commissary and package privileges, but that didn’t seem to bother her. A month later, guards found nude images and “altered state pants.” Shirilla claimed the pills were “prenatal vitamins” that she obtained from someone else.

If that weren’t enough, other infractions include playing with a tablet, dancing, and staying in restricted areas past lights out. She evidently speaks disrespectfully during guards’ headcounts and makes video calls whenever she wants.

The judge gave Shirilla 15 years to life, citing she expected the convicted killer to spend many years in prison. If she truly doesn’t care one bit about rules or what anyone thinks, she’s in it for the long haul. It seems that the judge knew just what she was doing after all.
