What to Know
If there’s one thing you can count on, it’s that a toddler/preschooler is going to do things on their terms. And they do not care who is there to witness it either. As parents, many of us have learned how to take it in stride. Toddler mom Keke Palmer seems to have learned it too. The multi-faceted actress, entrepreneur and host has a three-year-year son named Leo. Her son features heavily on her social media, and is too cute. Recently, Leo and his toddler antics stole the show during a recent home tour interview.
We all learned that the little one has a new skill alongside his mom.
Keke Palmer was caught OFF GUARD when she realized her son had climbed onto the kitchen counter by himself in the middle of an interview 😭👀

“How the hell did you get up there by yourself? He’s getting so big, it’s so hard to know how he’s able to do all this stuff.” 🤣 pic.twitter.com/yDnvhQwQtK
During her interview with Architectural Digest, Palmer is giving a tour of her kitchen and talking about her love for old school sitcoms. In a clip that has gone viral on X, Palmer stops mid-sentence and quickly turns to face off-camera.
“How the hell did you get up there by yourself?” she asks, and the camera pans to Leo, kneeling on the counter and smiling.
“Dang you good — that’s crazy. You climbed?” she asks. “I’m eating cereal,” Leo replies, pointing to a cereal dispenser.
Palmer can’t help but marvel at her toddler’s ingenuity. “He’s getting so big, it’s so hard to know how he’s able to do all this stuff,” she says. She goes on to say that baby-proofing the house “is like a constant thing that I’m always doing.”
Leo let his feelings about having visitors be known.
In the next part of the clip, Palmer explains that Leo “loves milk.” She asks if he wants some milk, which he refers to as “leche,” which is the Spanish translation.
“No! I’m done drinking leche,” he declares as his mom looks stunned.
He then tells his mommy that he “was sleeping.”
“Are you happy that the people are at the house?” she asks, pointing to the camera.
Leo, who has his back to the camera while facing his mom, pauses. “Ummm, no!” he says.
“Do you want them to leave?” she asks. He doesn’t reply, but his slow turn to the camera says everything for him.
People love the cute interaction.

“Keke’s pure panic followed by immediate amazement is the universal toddler mom experience. They really wake up every single day with brand new physical abilities they didn’t have the night before,” one person wrote.
“4 years ago before I was a parent I wouldn’t have understood this. Now sitting here with my 3.5 year old twins who in a blink of an eye can get into anything….I get where she is coming from lol,” a fellow parent commented.
“😂 Keke’s double take + Leo’s “I’m done with leche” is PEAK toddler chaos!” another comment read. “That Spidey climb out of nowhere had me dying every parent’s “how tf?!” moment in real time. Kids level up overnight fr 😭👀”
“Kids always try to make you out to be liar 😭😭 she says that and now today’s the day he’s done with leche 😩😭😭” someone else wrote.
“Every parent has that ‘wait… HOW did you even get up there?!’ moment 😂 Kids level up overnight. The fact she instantly switched from interview mode to full mom mode is what makes this so real and wholesome.”
