Parents in Oklahoma entrusted Samantha Pearson, also known as Samantha Bailey, to love and protect their children at her in-home daycare. Pearson ran an unlicensed facility and reportedly had multiple little ones in her care when surveillance inside her Moore home reportedly captured some disturbing video.
The 25-year-old mother allegedly shoved baby wipes into two separate children’s mouths to get them to stop crying during changes. She also reportedly shoved and slapped a child as a form of discipline. Pearson now faces child abuse charges, and one former client claims she noticed warning signs before Pearson’s arrest.
Pearson allegedly abused multiple children.
KOCO reported that Pearson operated her daycare inside a home near N Santa Fe Avenue and NW 6th Street. According to an affidavit obtained by the outlet, video from June 25, 2026, allegedly showed Bailey shoving baby wipes into the mouths of two toddlers crying during diaper changes. She reportedly shoved a second wipe into one of the toddlers’ mouths after they spit the first one out.
Pearson allegedly “slammed” a child onto the changing table when they tried to crawl away. Court documents state she then slapped the child with an open hand while attempting to dress them. The victims were 3 and 4 years old.
One former client claimed she saw warning signs before Pearson’s arrest.
Brittany Moser-Moxley told News 9 that Pearson watched her children and reportedly left them in the care of her husband without notifying her. That bothered Moser-Moxley, but one incident in particular was the end of their childcare relationship.
“She texted me. She didn’t call me,” Moser-Moxley said. “She texted me, told me my son was turning purple and blue.”
The mother rushed to Pearson’s home without question to check on her son. Moser-Moxley said that was the last straw and learning about the charges enraged her. “You need to get help. You do not need to be around kids,” she said. “I trusted you, and parents trusted you.”
Hearing that Pearson allegedly hurt the children broke Moser-Moxley’s heart.
“She watched my kids for several months, and I’m irritated,” she said. “I can’t believe she did that to somebody else’s kids. How can you do that to somebody else’s kids? You should know better.”
The Oklahoma Department of Human Services said Pearson has not had a childcare license since 2025, KOCO reported.
Pearson apparently gave other parents bad vibes.
KFOR shared Pearson’s story on Facebook, and many posted about their alleged experiences with her in-home daycare.
“God dang I toured her house when she was starting her in home daycare glad I listened to my gut and walked away .. good lord,” one person wrote.
Others had the same feeling and walked away. “Crazy story is when I was looking for a daycare. I actually filled out all the paperwork for the kids to be watched at her home daycare and something was telling me not to go with it so I didn’t!!!” Another parent shared.
According to court records, Pearson remains in custody in the Cleveland County Detention Center on a $300,000 bond facing three child abuse charges.
