What to Know
Over the last few years, something has changed in Kourtney Kardashian’s relationship with her sisters — anyone who’s been watching The Kardashians knows it.
Between the all-out fights she’s had with Kim and the distance she’s been putting between herself and her family, Kourtney is living life differently, and not only are her sisters upset about it, but it seems like they might be blaming her husband, Travis Barker, for the huge shift in her behavior.
Kourtney’s sisters pointed out her absence in a new trailer for The Kardashians.
A new glimpse at the show’s eighth season is finally here, and it seems like there’s quite a bit of tension between Kourtney and her sisters ahead.
In one clip, a producer can be heard asking Kris, “How have your daughters been getting along this season?” to which she replies, “It’s been a week.” That never means anything good.
Then, there are separate scenes where both Kim and Kendall are talking about their relationship with Kourtney these days (or lack thereof). Kendall says, “We don’t see her that often” in one clip, while another has Kim telling Khloé that their older sister “doesn’t know how to have friends, hang out with sisters, it’s sad.”
It looks like Travis is getting the blame.

All Kourtney says about the situation in the trailer? “It’s hard to get together with everyone else.”
And sure, there are a lot of people in her family (with a lot of children, and a lot of different schedules) but is that really all that’s going on?
Family friend Simon Huck says to Kourtney in the trailer, “They think that Travis is shielding you from the family, which is probably the biggest misread of the century.”
It’s true that the big changes in Kourtney seem to have taken place after she started dating Travis, and now that they’re marred, they appear to be inseparable. Is he driving a wedge between her and her sisters?
Kourtney doesn’t seem to be admitting it if that’s true. Later, she says, “My biggest priority right now is my kids and I’m very happy with my life.”
There have been hints that something might be going on with the family behind the scenes for a while.

Aside from Kim and Kourtney constantly butting heads over work and Kourtney’s schedule, other quiet hints suggest something isn’t right in the Kardashians’ relationship with Travis.
When his documentary, Louder Than Fear, dropped in August, Kourtney was the only one from her family to attend the premiere, which seemed odd for a family who tends to do everything together (and obviously loves a red carpet occasion). Could that be a sign that her family actually does think that Travis is to blame for the distance Kourtney’s put between them?
We’ll just have to wait and see how things unfold when The Kardashians returns with new episodes on Hulu on October 8. From the outside, it does seem like the sisters might be at their tipping point.
