One TLC reality star had an unexpected run-in with the police during a visit to the zoo over the holiday weekend. 1,000-Lb. Sisters star Amy Slaton was arrested on Monday on charges of drug possession and child endangerment after police were called the property after receiving reports of a camel bite and allegedly smelled something suspicious coming from her car, which ultimately led to her arrest.

The arrest took place in Tennessee.
As People reported, according to a Facebook post shared by the Crockett County Sheriff's Department, Amy's arrest happened at Tennessee Safari Park in Alamo, where police were called to respond to a guest who had reportedly been bitten by a camel on the property.
When police arrived, they were reportedly 'immediately overtaken by suspicious odors' coming from Amy's vehicle.
This led to Amy (along with Brian Scott Lovvorn, who was in the car with her) being arrested on charges of "illegal possession of Schedule I, illegal possession of Schedule VI, and two counts of child endangerment."
The post went on to say that Amy and Brian had both been booked at Crockett County Jail.
Fans are already concerned for Amy.
People shared their reactions to the news on X (formerly Twitter), and many were disappointed to hear that this had happened. One wrote, "Oh Amy i was rooting for you."
Another tweet read, "This is a serious allegation. Why did she do that?"

Amy has two children.
She and ex-husband Michael Halterman have two sons, 4-year-old Gage and 2-year-old Glenn. It's not clear if Glenn and Gage were present at the time of Amy's arrest.
Amy, 36, is best known for starring in the reality series 1,000-Lb. Sisters alongside her sister, Tammy Slaton.
Amy has been quiet on social media since her arrest.
So far, she has yet to issue a statement on her arrest or share an update online with fans. Her most recent TikTok post was shared last week, when she and her friends were sharing their review of a snack box that included treats from all over the world.
