If there is one thing we know to be true, it's that Kate Middleton is stunning. And lucky for her, she also has the money to buy the chicest clothes and have them fitted to best accentuate her beauty. The Princess of Wales' tailor does a great job of highlighting all of her best assets, from her long legs to her slim waist to her toned arms.
It helps that Kate is also a fashionista. She knows what's in style and how to wear it, and that combined with a svelte figure ensures that she always looks her best when out in public and having her photo taken 6,000 times.
Kate is an athletic person; she rowed in college and even now she hops on boats whenever she can or plays sports with her kids or goes on jogs. She also reportedly follows a healthy diet. The end result: Kate looks fabulous! And occasionally she'll even dress to show off all her hard work.
Here are some of our favorite photos where the Princess of Wales really showed off her foxy figure, thanks to what she was wearing.
Walking the Runway
When Kate Middleton and Prince William were in college together, he happened to see her at a charity fashion show. Kate was one of the models, and she strutted down the runway in a sheer dress with only a bikini underneath. It's rumored that this is how Kate first caught William's eye, and the rest is history.
Shorts & a Halter Top

It turns out that Kate will wear just about any outfit if it's for charity. In 2008, she donned a roller disco getup for a fundraiser for Place2Be, which is still one of her charities today. We can count on one hand how many times Kate has worn shorts in public, and this is one of those times.
Working Out

An avid rower in college, Kate still loves a good boat race today. And she looks great doing it. This rowing look shows off her strong shoulders and thigh muscles. Kate is slim, yes, but she's also strong. It's a tricky combination, and Kate totally nails it. She probably has a personal trainer to help, but she's also just a naturally athletic person.
Party Dress

Kate often came dressed to play before marrying William. When she wasn't yet a royal, she had more freedom in her fashion and could wear things like glittery, sleeveless minidresses. This photo was snapped outside of the club Mahiki, a regular hangout for Kate, William, Prince Harry, and Harry's then-girlfriend Chelsy Davy.
Chic Wrap Dress
Although Kate had been photographed plenty of times before getting engaged to William in 2010, their announcement would mark one of her first official photo calls. So she made sure she looked great for the cameras in a sleek V-neck wrap dress that highlighted her tiny waist and long legs.
Sleek & Strapless

In the royal world, black dresses are usually reserved for funerals. But early on in her royal tenure, Kate wore this black velvet strapless dress and knocked everyone's socks off. She was dressed for an awards ceremony that she attended just a few months after marrying William, and she wasn't messing around with her wardrobe.
Sexy Spectator

Kate was often present in the stands at the 2012 Summer Olympics, which were held in London. On this occasion, she showed up dressed for the summer heat in a miniskirt and low-cut sleeveless blouse. Sure, sports may have been happening around her, but she was turning plenty of heads herself.
Skinny Jeans

Although she often opts for dresses for her royal engagements, sometimes an event calls for something more casual. On those occasions, Kate loves a pair of skinny jeans. She has some seriously great legs, and these pants allow her to show them off while she's running or playing sports — or whatever happens to be going on that day.
Miniskirt
This high-low skirt style was trendy in 2014 when Kate wore this dress. From certain angles, it would look like she was wearing a floor-length gown, but then she would turn around and bam! Her legs were on full display in the miniskirt. She paired the look with open-toe sandals, a rarity for Kate.
Abs-olutely Stunning

Kate's body bounced back just a few months after she gave birth to Prince George in 2013. During an outing where she tried her hand at playing volleyball, her striped T-shirt kept riding up and showing off her abs. It almost seemed like Kate strategically planned the event and the outfit to show the paparazzi her impressive post-baby body.
Red-Carpet Ready

When she attended the 2019 BAFTAs, Kate went with a more daring look than her usual outfits. She wore a stunning one-shoulder white dress that quite frankly made her look like some kind of Greek goddess. Not only did she show off her arms, but the cinched waist played up her slim figure.
Backless Beauty

Red carpet events seem to be one of the places where Kate most plays with her style. At an event in 2018, she went with a Jenny Packham design that showed off her back under the blue lace. It's probably as close as Kate will ever get to actually wearing a backless dress — even though it's been done before by Princess Diana.
Cold Shoulder

The princess wore this bold blue look during a sports-related charity event, so maybe she wanted to show off her fit figure to the athletes. The shoulder cutouts on this dress are chic, and it's a much more form-fitting design than she usually wears. At the time this picture was taken, Kate was already a mom of two, so this whole thing is impressive.
Stepping Out

Angelina Jolie, who? Kate had her own Jolie leg-slit moment for a night on the town with William. She looked so stunning in this cream dress, and every time she took a step, she wowed photographers with her toned legs and strappy heels. We hope she brings this look back sometime.
Low Cut

It's pretty much an unspoken rule that royal women don't wear anything low cut. In fact, Princess Diana used to carry around clutch purses to protect herself from prying cameras when she was getting in and out of cars. But Kate decided to show the tiniest hint of cleavage on the red carpet of the 2020 BAFTAs. All fashion bets are off when Kate has a red carpet event.
A Sheer Illusion

Even when she's not directly showing skin, Kate has played around with the illusion of a sheer dress. This lacy black gown has a nude lining so it makes it seem a lot more risqué from far away than it actually is. The sweetheart neckline and velvet belt also add a slim silhouette to the dress.
Pulling a Meghan Markle

Meghan Markle caught flak for the few times she wore off-the-shoulder ensembles. Her wedding dress showed her shoulders and so did her first Trooping the Colour outfit. But the Duchess of Sussex is not alone in liking this style. Kate has also worn off-the-shoulder looks, like this sleek white gown she donned in 2019.

All Gold

We've seen Kate walk the red carpet at movie premieres a time or two, but this might be our favorite look of hers. Not only did she go with an out-of-character plunging neckline, but the gold gown was also cinched at the waist, accentuating her figure despite the cape going down the back.
Rainy Day Style

It's rare that we see Kate in shorts, but when she and William toured the Caribbean in March 2022, it was the perfect time for her to bust this pair out of her suitcase. Even though it was a rainy day, she still looked good, and so did her legs.
Showing Off
During that same Caribbean tour, William and Kate attended a reception in the Bahamas, and Kate did not come to play — as per usual, considering the looks we've seen from her at formal events in the past. She showed off her arms and wore a low neckline at the same time. She looked stunning.
