Most die-hard Bachelor Nation members are pretty aware of what is going on in the lives of recent contestants, but did you ever stop and wonder what all of the former leading men and women of The Bachelor and The Bachelorette are up to now? We know, we know, there have been so many seasons that it's been hard to keep track! It honestly seems like some of the former Bachelor and Bachelorette contestants have dropped off the face of the Earth, while others have gone on to enjoy all sorts of perks associated with the fame they gained on the show.
Either way, we want to know: Where are they now? As soon as each season ends, there is so much hype surrounding the star of the show and his or her relationship with the person chosen, especially if there is some sort of drama or controversy involved — like the time Arie Luyendyk Jr. broke up with Becca Kufrin on TV, only to turn around and get engaged to his runner-up, Lauren Burnham? (Obviously, he made the right choice — today, they're happily married parents of three.)
Yes, some contestants have more interesting stories than others, but it's fun to hear what all of them are up to these days. Read on to find out what happened to the former Bachelor and Bachelorette stars. Some of their current gigs are surprising!
Alex Michel
How can we ever forget the man who started it all? The very first Bachelor star ever, Alex Michel, works at a media and technology company, though he and his chosen lady, Amanda Marsh, are long over — and the show is practically unrecognizable these days from what The Bachelor started out as.
Aaron Buerge
Aaron Buerge and Helene Eksterowicz only lasted for like five seconds after The Bachelor was over. Apparently he fell on hard times in recent years, as Aaron was accused of fraud to avoid paying off a million-dollar debt. He did find love, though; he's been married to Angye McIntosh since 2009.
Trista (Rehn) Sutter
Out of all of the love stories to come out of the show, Trista (the first Bachelorette) and Ryan Sutter's marriage is the biggest success, for sure. They are still living in Vail, Colorado, with their two children, Max and Blakesley, having lots of outdoorsy adventures together.
Andrew Firestone
Andrew Firestone's engagement to Jen Schefft didn't pan out, though he did get his happily ever after. He is currently principal at a company called Stone Park Capital, and he and his wife, Ivana, have three children, Brooks, Anja, and Shane.
Bob Guiney
After his romance with Estella Gardinier quickly fizzled, Bob Guiney married Rebecca Budig, but then they wound up divorcing in 2010. He then wed Jessica Canyon in 2016, and they now have two children together. Judging by his Instagram account, he seems pretty happy that things worked out the way they did.
Meredith Phillips
Meredith Phillips is married to Michael Broady, and opened up about her battle with alcoholism a few years ago. She admits being a "functioning alcoholic" during The Bachelorette while dating ex-fiancé Ian McKee. Meredith also shocked fans everywhere after coming forward and claiming she was roofied and sexually assaulted on The Bachelorette.
Jesse Palmer
Jesse Palmer's relationship with his Bachelor final pick, Jessica Bowlin, was short-lived, and he's now married to Brazilian model Emely Fardo. But the biggest change in Jesse's life recently has to be the fact that he took over the hosting reins of The Bachelor when Chris Harrison left the show.
Byron Velvick
Byron Velvick and Mary Delgado stayed together for five years after getting engaged on The Bachelor, even though Mary allegedly punched him in the mouth in 2007, leading to her arrest. Byron is now married to Belinda Juarez and is still doing the pro-fishing thing.
Jen (Schefft) Waterman
In a podcast in 2017, Jen Schefft came forward and said that her final Bachelorette pick, Jerry Ferris, was secretly an aspiring actor. (Scandalous!) Jen is now married to Joe Waterman, and they have two daughters, Mae and Charlotte. She hosts her own podcast, From The Bachelor to the Burbs, and lives outside of Cleveland.
Charlie O'Connell
Charlie O'Connell and his pick, Sarah Brice, were together for five years, though sadly, they eventually went their separate ways. He's still a TV personality, and he married Playboy playmate Anna Sophia Berglund in May 2018. As far as we know, they're still living happily ever after.
Travis Stork
For those who don't recognize him from The Bachelor, look for Travis Stork on The Doctors, which he hosted until 2020. He married Dr. Charlotte Brown in 2012, though their relationship ultimately didn't last. Today, he is married to a woman named Parris, and they welcomed their first child, a baby boy named Grayson, in June 2020.
Prince Lorenzo Borghese
Lorenzo Borghese starred on Esquire's Lucky Bastards series, and now he owns South Beach Brewing Company. He's also cofounder of Animal Aid USA, which is a nonprofit organization that focuses on changing laws to stop animal cruelty. By the looks of his (private) Instagram, he's still single!
Andy Baldwin
Andy Baldwin is a US Navy family physician and lives in San Diego. His Instagram is set to private, so it's tough to tell whether he has a leading lady in his life at the moment, but hopefully, his post-Bachelor life is everything that he ever hoped it would be.
Brad Womack
After infamously choosing no one on his first season of The Bachelor, Brad Womack proposed to Emily Maynard on his second season, though now he is single once again. He still lives in Texas where he owns a bunch of bars with his brothers.
Matt Grant
Things didn't work out with Shayne Lamas, who is now married to Nik Ritchie. But Matt Grant is married now, too! He wed Rebecca Moring in 2017, and they look so happy together — though, now that he's no longer living the reality TV life, he does tend to keep a low profile online.
DeAnna (Pappas) Stagliano
DeAnna Pappas and Jesse Csincsak didn't last, but she went on to marry Stephen Stagliano, brother of Bachelorette alum Michael Stagliano. DeAnna and Stephen have two kids, Addison and Austin, and she seems to focus most of her time these days on her blogging career.
Jason Mesnick
Despite initially choosing Melissa Rycroft, Jason Mesnick married his runner-up, Molly Malaney. It was a bit shocking at the time, but since then they have proven that their love is meant to be. They welcomed daughter Riley in 2013 and they reside in Seattle. Jason is a residential consultant at The Jason Mesnick Group.
Jillian Harris
Jillian Harris' journey on The Bachelor and The Bachelorette led her to a full-time career in TV. Not only did she host Love It or List It Too in Vancouver, but she's also gone on to have a much bigger fan following than she did on the show. She's married and has two kids, Leo and Annie.
Jake Pavelka
Jake Pavelka is presumably still flying airplanes, though he also guest starred on The Bold and the Beautiful and serves as the CEO of RR Environmental Group. His epic breakup with Vienna Girardi will go down in history as one of the most entertaining pieces of reality TV ever.
Ali (Fedotowsky) Manno
Now a TV personality and blogger, Ali Fedotowsky is doing so well in her post-Bachelorette life. Today, she is married to Kevin Manno, and they have two children, Molly and Riley. The whole family recently picked up and moved to Nashville, and they seem to be settling in well, according to Ali's Instagram updates.
Ashley (Hebert) Rosenbaum
Pediatric dentist Ashley Hebert married J.P. Rosenbaum, and they have two children together, Fordham and Essie. It seemed like they were going to live happily ever after, but unfortunately at the end of 2021, they finalized their divorce and they both seem to be moving on.
Ben Flajnik
Ben Flajnik is back in the wine business and the founder of Ion Wines and Fernet Francisco. He's still living the dream in Northern California, and having lots of fun with his adorable pup, Scotch — and hanging out with his equally adorable niece.
Emily (Maynard) Johnson
Finding love on TV may not have worked for her, but Emily Maynard married Tyler Johnson and finally found her happy ever after. She is still living in Charlotte, North Carolina, and she's a mom of five, so we assume she's having no problems keeping herself busy these days.
Sean Lowe
Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici are happily married and living in his hometown of Dallas. They are the proud parents of two absolutely adorable little boys, Samuel and Isaiah, and one daughter, Mia, who was born in December 2019. A major success story for the franchise!
Desiree (Hartsock) Siegfried
Desiree and Chris Siegfried are still living in Seattle, where she designs her own line of wedding dresses. They have two children together, and she even wrote a book about her experience on The Bachelorette called The Road to the Roses.
Juan Pablo Galavis
After his behavior on The Bachelor, maybe we shouldn't be so surprised that Juan Pablo Galavis' marriage after the show didn't work out. In 2019, he and Venezuelan model Osmariel Villalobos went their separate ways, and now his daughter Camila is back to being the only lady in his life. He currently works as a sports and music consultant.
Andi Dorfman
Andi Dorfman's relationship with Josh Murray may not have worked out, but she's seems to be happily in a relationship these days as she travels the world and takes charge of her own life. Now a New York Times best-selling author, Andi shows no signs of slowing down any time soon.
Chris Soules
Chris Soules is still living in Iowa, and has had quite a tough time after he was in a car crash in 2017 that resulted in the death of the other driver. He ultimately received two years of probation for leaving the scene of the crash, though as he said on the Almost Famous podcast, he's really been struggling since then.
"The lows have been really low. We've stuck together as a family, and both families are having an opportunity to heal as much as humanly possible from something that you really can't 100% heal from," he said.
Kaitlyn Bristowe
Between hosting her own podcast, launching a brand of wine (and line of scrunchies), and winning Dancing With the Stars, Kaitlyn Bristowe's been a busy lady since her Bachelorette days. Her engagement to Shawn Booth may not have worked out, but today she's happily engaged to a fellow Bach alum Jason Tartick.
Ben Higgins
Ben Higgins and his final pick, Lauren Bushnell, broke up in May 2017, but things still worked out for the best. Today, he's happily married to Jessica Clarke, and he's still busy with his own brand, Generous Coffee, plus his multiple podcast endeavors to boot.
JoJo Fletcher
JoJo Fletcher and Jordan Rodgers are living happily ever after — even though they haven't officially tied the knot yet. Still, they've been pretty busy getting into home renovation together, and they even have their own show, Cash Pad, on CNBC, so it makes sense that they haven't found time to walk down the aisle!
Nick Viall
After a short-lived engagement to Vanessa Grimaldi after his season, Nick Viall was single again. But now? He's happily dating surgical technologist Natalie Joy and hosting his wildly popular podcast, The Viall Files. Things really worked out for this guy!
Rachel Lindsay
Now that her time on The Bachelorette is behind her, Rachel Lindsay has found where she really shines. She and her final pick, Bryan Abasolo, are still happily married, and she's found a home hosting on Extra and on her podcast, Higher Learning, while distancing herself from the franchise.
Arie Luyendyk Jr.
Not only are Arie and Lauren Luyendyk still happily married, but they also happen to be parents of three little ones — they have daughter Alessi and twins Senna and Lux, who were born in 2021. Arie is a realtor in Scottsdale, Arizona, where their family lives.
Becca Kufrin
Becca Kufrin had a tough time in the Bach franchise at first — her seasons of The Bachelor and The Bachelorette both ended in love that just didn't last. But now, she's still going strong with Thomas Jacobs, who she met on Bachelor in Paradise. Here's hoping she's found her forever!
Colton Underwood
Boy, a lot has changed since Colton Underwood was on The Bachelor! After leaving the show in a relationship with Cassie Randolph, the couple later broke up, with Cassie even accusing him of stalking her after their split. Not long after that, Colton came out as gay, and today, he's in a relationship with musician and activist Jordan Brown.
Hannah Brown
After the world fell in love with Alabama pageant queen Hannah Brown on The Bachelor, she was cast as The Bachelorette. She ended the season getting engaged to Jed Wyatt, who she later found out had actually been in a relationship while he was on the show. She was single and did her own thing for a while, but now she's dating Adam Woolard, and they share an adorable dog.
Peter Weber
Known as Pilot Pete, Peter Weber ended his season engaged to Hannah Ann Sluss, though they didn't end up staying together past After the Final Rose. He ended up dating two other women from his season after that, which didn't work out either. These days, it seems like he's still single.
Tayshia Adams
Though Tayshia's season of The Bachelorette actually began as Clare Crawley's, Clare tapped out early to get engaged to Dale Moss (though they're no longer together). Tayshia and winner Zac Clark have since ended their engagement, and Tayshia is now living it up as a single lady.
Matt James
Former Bach contestant Tyler Cameron's BFF Matt James ended up as The Bachelor thanks to his connection to the franchise. Controversially, he chose Rachael Kirkconnell, and they're still together. Today, Matt works in pediatric therapy.
Katie Thurston
Katie Thurston's engagement to Blake Moynes petered out after The Bachelorette, but now she's already found new love — with another man from her season! She's been dating John Hersey since November 2021, even though she originally eliminated him very early on in the show.
Michelle Young
Fortunately, the most recent Bachelorette star and her final pick are still together. Michelle Young and Nayte Olukoya got engaged on the season finale, and so far, things seem to be going pretty well between them. They're definitely still in that honeymoon phase!
