Sometimes celebrities can be so relatable. They occasionally take out their own trash, grab coffee, deal with parenting problems, and the like. But other times, we're starkly reminded that an A-lister and a regular person have little in common. This is especially true when the celeb is walking down a red carpet in millions of dollars worth of diamonds or getting proposed to with a gigantic, gleaming rock.
The birthstone for the month of April is the diamond, so in honor of that, we've rounded up some of the best photos of celebrities wearing diamond jewelry throughout the years. From rings, necklaces, and bracelets to literal crowns, these famous people proved that they can be just as shiny as literal stars when they dress up in these gems.

Princess Diana
There's no talking about expensive jewelry without mentioning Britain's royals. Princess Diana loved to rock the family diamonds, be it with earrings, necklaces, bracelets, or her infamous tiaras. We're partial to these diamond butterfly-shaped earrings, because they're so cute. Her son, Prince Harry later gifted these to his wife, Meghan Markle.
Kate Middleton
For formal events, married royal women are expected to wear tiaras, so we've seen Kate Middleton don them a time or two. This particular tiara is made of diamonds and pearls and was one of Diana's favorites. It's called the Lover's Knot tiara and was first created for Queen Mary in 1914 before eventually being passed down to the Duchess of Cambridge.
Meghan Markle
Both of Diana's daughters-in-law got pieces from her jewelry collection. Meghan Markle was recently spotted in one of the princess' diamond bracelets. The Duchess of Sussex wore it during her Oprah Winfrey interview, where Harry talked about how, without his mother's inheritance, he couldn't have paid for his family's security post-royal exit.
Kim Kardashian
America's royal family — the Kardashians and Jenners — also love their diamond jewelry. Kim Kardashian, especially. It's hard to pick a favorite accessory of hers, but we do love her Lorraine Schwartz diamond earrings and rings that she wore at the 2016 Met Gala. They go so well with her sparkling silver Balmain gown.
Kylie Jenner
Kylie Jenner can buy a lot of gems with her billion dollar net worth, and she certainly has. This sparkling lips-shaped necklace is a nod to her Kylie Cosmetics logo. She threw this look on for her 22nd birthday, and she must have literally glittered all night long with a necklace like that.
Khloé Kardashian
In early 2021, Khloé Kardashian has sparked engagement rumors when she started sporting a dangerously large rock on that finger. Keeping Up with the Kardashians fans know that Khloé has been getting friendly with her ex Tristan Thompson again, could this giant gem be from him? Either way, it's stunning.

Taylor Swift's "Look What You Made Me Do" video features a ton of epic jewelry. In one scene, she's literally bathing in diamonds. Stand out pieces from the video include a gold and diamond snake necklace, several diamond snake rings, a diamond snake bracelet, and diamond snake hoop earrings. She really went all out.
Justin Timberlake
Diamonds may be a girl's best friend, but guys can wear them also. In the early 2000s, Justin Timberlake was known for sporting diamond stud earrings, and they were hefty jewels, too. He's grown out of that phase in recent years, but it was definitely trendy at the time. What a throwback, huh?

At the 1991 Oscars, Madonna terrified the Harry Winston team when she chucked one of her diamond earrings into the crowd during her performance. It turned out, the ones she wore on stage were replicas. But the ones in this photo are real, and they're gorgeous. She was wearing $20 million in diamonds for the event.

She usually plays pretty down-to-earth characters who don't get dressed up much, but Sandra Oh loves to play with her style on the red carpet. For the 2019 Emmys, she wore Messika droplet earrings that doubled as ear cuffs. Because she didn't wear a necklace, everyone's eyes were drawn to her earrings instead.

Katy Perry's pink flower-shaped engagement ring from Orlando Bloom cost a pretty penny. It's reportedly worth around $5 million. We love how unique it is from the color of the stone to how the diamonds were arranged like a flower. It totally fits the singer who loves everything feminine and pink.
Jessica Alba
This shimmering diamond Harry Winston necklace was worth about $5.8 million when Jessica Alba wore it to the 2013 Golden Globes. We don't know how these celebs do it. If we had to wear something so expensive, we'd be nervous all night that we'd lose it or damage it somehow. Props to them.
Jennifer Lopez
J.Lo literally dazzled at the 2019 Met Gala when she wore this beaded Versace dress and headpiece. She's also wearing so many jewels, from her diamond earrings, to her purple sapphire and diamond necklace, to all her rings and bracelets. Wherever Beyoncé goes, she's sure to be one of the best looking in the room. The same was true at the 2018 Grammys, where she shone in these custom 70-carat diamond earrings. They're such a unique shape, and they're freaking gigantic. She could probably be seen even from the back row of the event.

Nicole Kidman was literally dripping in diamonds at the 2008 Academy Awards. Her multi-strand diamond necklace was worth $7 million, according to Hello! magazine. It also took over 6,000 hours to make and featured over 7,500 individual gems. No wonder it's so beautiful, it's basically a piece of art.
Hailey Bieber
After marrying Justin Bieber, Hailey Baldwin was excited to announce to the world that she'd been wifed up. Shortly after their nuptials. Hailey showed off a diamond necklace that spelled out "wifey." She also has a diamond necklace that says "Bieber." She's fully invested in this relationship, that's for sure.

At the 2019 Oscars, Rachel Weisz decided to shake things up by putting her diamonds in her hair. The jeweled headband was actually made by sewing two matching vintage Cartier brooches into the actresses locks. Creative and stylish, this look was a total knockout on the red carpet that night.

Lady Gaga's giant yellow diamond from the 2019 Oscars reminded many people of the "Isadora diamond" that Kate Hudson's character wears in the movie How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days. According to Insider, Gaga's gem was worth $30 million, and she got stopped by security guards when she accidentally almost left the event still wearing the necklace.
Billy Porter
Billy Porter was all blinged out at the 2019 Tony Awards. He stunned on the red carpet with several diamond brooches, a diamond ring, and a diamond bracelet. He paired all that ice with a spectacular suit that had a matching train. "It's a beautiful nod to Elizabethan couture," he said of his outfit.
