After three years of marriage, we're still totally in love with Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's relationship. From the minute we found out the Suits actress was dating the royal, it was easy to see that these two just work together — not to mention the fact that they also happen to make a beautiful couple.
If we're being completely honest here, all the royals are incredibly photogenic (have you seen Prince William and Kate Middleton lately?), but there's something a little extra about the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. Sure, they look great, but they also sort of look like they're in on some sort of super fun secret with each other, and it's adorable.
But of course, their marriage hasn't been all photo ops and great outfits. They've had a lot of challenging moments, too — and what really makes this couple great is the fact that they've faced them (and overcome them) together.
Here are 35 of Harry and Meghan's cutest moments. We hope there are so many more to come in the future. We can't wait to see where life takes them.
Check out our Meghan Markle page for all the latest news about Meghan, Prince Harry, and their growing family.
Whisper, Whisper
The first time Meghan and Harry attended a public event together (the Invictus Games), they didn't shy away from looking smitten with each other. That may be when we fell in love with them, but it's definitely clear that this was probably when they were already head over heels for each other.
Stolen Kisses
At the Invictus Games, the two also weren't afraid to steal a quick kiss. It's hard to remember a time when these two weren't being followed by cameras everywhere they went, but it's easy to see why they started a buzz from the beginning. They're too cute!
Could They Look More in Love?
Was it possible for Meghan and Harry to look more in love during their engagement photo call? Nope. We'll admit that our expectations were high for these pictures when we found out they were happening, but the future Sussexes still managed to blow royal fans out of the water with the results.
Huddle Close
On Meghan and Harry's first post-engagement outing, their PDA game was still going strong — and this photo might have been one of the earliest clues of how protective Harry would always be of his future wife. Nothing has really changed between them since then, either.
Every Moment of Their Engagement Interview
For anyone who saw five seconds of Harry and Meghan's engagement interview, it was more than obvious: They're super in love. Honestly, we could have watched hours of this footage — it was that cute. From this moment on, it was impossible not to be Team Harry and Meghan.
Their Engagement Portrait Pics
Have we ever seen royals being this romantic? Definitely not. William and Kate's engagement portrait was beautiful, of course — they are beautiful people. But we have to give Harry and Meghan the upper hand here. These two somehow always understand the assignment.
Semi-Candid
What's this? Oh, just a walk in fancy garden in fancy clothes while Meghan lovingly leans into Harry. NBD. If we didn't know any better, we'd think that this photo came straight out of a catalog, but no, it's just two real people who are so obviously in love.
Never Not Touching
Even when they're on their way out from somewhere, Harry and Meghan are still holding hands or touching in some kind of way. Again, we've gotta assume this at least partially comes from how protective Harry is, but part of it is because they just can't keep their hands off of each other.
Love on the Road
Even when they're just driving, they look super happy together! Then again, during this stage in their relationship, being in the car was probably one of the few moments where they got even a little privacy, so it makes sense that they both looked so relaxed.
Greeting the Crowds
Make no mistake about it: These two lovebirds were happy to be with each other on Christmas Day. And even though there have been plenty of rumors since then that the royals are feuding with the Sussexes, Meghan seemed to have no issue adapting to the Sandringham tradition from day one.
It's Official
Meghan and Harry are the most touchy-feely out of all the royals. And we love it. They're all bundled up and snuggled in close, and we're loving how Meghan always has a grin ready to greet any crowd she may meet, even though it had to be at least a little overwhelming for her.
One Hand in Her Pocket …
Not exactly sure what's going on here — is Harry's hand in Meghan's pocket? — but one thing is obvious: These two are in love and they don't care who knows it, which has been their vibe from the beginning.
Never change, guys.
At the Women's Empowerment Reception
Just a month before their wedding, self-proclaimed feminist Prince Harry attended the Women's Empowerment reception, which was part of the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting. They look like they're having so much fun!
Harry's Whispered Words at the Altar
OK, so we loved absolutely everything about Meghan and Harry's wedding, but this moment is up there among our favorites from their big day. After Prince Charles walked Meghan down the aisle, Harry said to her, "You look amazing. I'm so lucky." We're melting!
This Kiss
We were honestly pretty bummed when we learned that we weren't going to get that traditional Buckingham Palace balcony kiss between Harry and Meghan, since they decided to get married in Windsor instead of London. But this backdrop is even more magical.
Ready To Party
We're in love with Meg's elegant second wedding dress, which she wore for the small after-party of about 200 close friends and family, thrown by Prince Charles — no big deal or anything! This bride looked gorgeous in both of her dresses.
First Post-Wedding Appearance
The newlyweds stepped out just days after their wedding for a garden party at Buckingham Palace in honor of Charles' upcoming 70th birthday. They are practically glowing — and we'll never get over how good Meghan looks in her signature neutrals.
Part of the Family at Trooping the Colour
Meghan looks like she fits right in with the rest of the royals on the balcony of Buckingham Palace for the annual Trooping the Colour parade. Of course, we know that there was always drama going on behind the scenes, but based on outward appearances, our Meghan did seem to be getting along with everyone at this point.
Major PDA
Harry and Meghan have been a lot more open with their PDA than William and Kate, as evidenced after Harry laid one on Meghan after competing in a charity polo match in July 2018. Hey, if they're feeling the need to smooch in the moment, they should go for it!
With a Special Guest
We bet when Lin-Manuel Miranda wrote his smash hit Hamilton, he didn't know he'd someday watch it be performed by the antagonist's descendant. Harry is King George III's sixth great-grandson! Meghan looks pretty pleased to be there too, judging by that look on her face.
Look of Pride
Harry made sure that Meghan's mom, Doria Ragland, was on-site for her first hosting duties at Kensington Palace. The Duchess of Sussex hosted a cookbook launch for Together: Our Community Cookbook, which consists of recipes from women whose community was affected by the Grenfell Tower fire. She obviously was a wonderful and gracious host, judging by the way Harry is looking at her in this photo.
First Baby Bump Photo
Harry and Meghan announced they were expecting their first child in October 2018, just before they embarked on their first official royal tour together to Australia, New Zealand, Tonga, and Fiji. Meghan was reportedly about 15 weeks pregnant in this photo, and looks better than most of us after a large meal.
That Bump Though
Meghan's bump made its official UK debut in November 2018 at the Royal Variety Performance at the London Palladium, where they were all dressed up for the formal event. Harry is clearly in love with his baby (and his wife, of course) already!
First Married Christmas
Although Meghan took part in the royals' Christmas the year before, when she and Harry were engaged, 2018 was the first year they appeared together as a married couple, and of course their unborn baby was there too — technically Archie's first holiday at Sandringham.
Bright New Colors for a Bright New Year
For their first outing in 2019, Meghan cradled her baby bump in bright purple and red at a Birkenhead Town Hall. As often as Meghan turns to neutral colors in her wardrobe, we have to admit that we love when she pulls a bright look like this out of her closet.
This Snowy Moment
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were delighted to meet with some of their youngest fans in February 2019 at the Bristol Old Vic. In case there had been any doubt back then that Meghan would be a wonderful mom, it was clear to see here how much she loves children.
Laughing Together
Even entering her third trimester of pregnancy, we love that these two are still holding hands (PDA alert!) and laughing together. That's the most important thing — and two kids (and a lot of challenges) later, it seems like that's never changed between them.
All About the Kids
In February 2019, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex meet sisters Rania Minejem, 5, and Ayhana Minejem, 2, during a visit to the Education for All boarding house in Asni Town in Morocco. They have such a soft spot for the littles!
Last 'Official' Public Appearance Before Archie
Harry and Meghan arrived for their last official public appearance before she went on maternity leave at the Commonwealth Day service at Westminster Abbey in London in March 2019. And yes, she definitely went out with a bang!
Last 'Unofficial' Public Appearance Before Archie
Meghan made an unplanned appearance to New Zealand House in London in March to honor the victims of the Christchurch mosque attacks where 50 people were killed and dozens more were injured. Harry and Meghan obviously have the biggest hearts, and that has been such an asset as they've become parents.
Welcome, Archie
After Meghan and Harry's baby boy was born, they proudly introduced him to the world — when they were ready, of course. Archie Harrison was — and is — such a cutie, and it was clear from the start that his parents were over the moon in love with him — and each other — in this photo.
An African Adventure
Meghan, Harry, and Archie took their first royal tour as a family later that year when they headed to South Africa. They seemed to have a great time, and Archie got to meet a lot of new people and see new things, too — his parents seemed so happy to show him off.
Walking Away From Royal Life
In early 2020, Harry and Meghan made an announcement that would shock the world: They were walking away from royal life, leaving the UK, and striking out on their own. Later, their decision would become more clear (and more permanent), and we'd find out that it was to protect their marriage and their mental health. Good for them!
Out With a Bang
Harry and Meghan returned to the UK in March 2020 to finish out their royal obligations, and they definitely left an impression on their way out. They made sure to show up in ways that kept people talking — even though they were ready to get out of the spotlight for once and for all.
A Baby Sister for Archie
In 2021, Meghan and Harry announced that they were expecting their second child with the most precious photo of the two of them together, showing off her bump for the first time. Now, Lilibet Diana is here, and we can't wait to meet her, too.
