40 of Meghan Markle’s Boldest Looks

Our dear duchess Meghan Markle is still less than a year on the job, and she's already becoming known for so many iconic things. She's not shy about her PDA with husband, Prince Harry, she speaks out for what she believes in, and of course, she isn't afraid to play around with her royal style. From day one as the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan has thought of the royal fashion protocols as more of guidelines than actual rules to follow. Now, we're sure she means no disrespect to the royal family's traditions, but this duchess recognizes that's it 2019 … why can't a royal wear blazers and dress pants? Yes, it's clear that Meghan isn't about to sacrifice boldness for royal regulations.

Because of this, Meghan has worn some things that have amazed just about everyone who looks at her. From bright colors to short mini-dresses, the Duchess of Sussex has tried it all. And, it's no surprise to anyone that she looks absolutely amazing in everything she wears.

After Meghan and Harry made her pregnancy announcement in October 2017, we all thought the classic maternity wear would kick in, but oh no. The duchess hasn't missed a beat with her pregnancy style, and she isn't backing down from any trend or outfits just because her baby bump is getting bigger every day. We owe a lot of our favorite royal styles to the original Kate Middleton, but we're sure that Meghan is going to be paving her own way, just as her sister-in-law did before her.

And so, to give Meghan all the fashion recognition she deserves, here are 40 of her boldest royal styles to date. If there's one thing we know about this duchess, it's that she's definitely not afraid to try anything. Enjoy!

Now that's a big bow keeping Meghan's coat closed, and yet, it still works on her.

Speaking of legs, Meghan wore this super short, super non-royal tuxedo dress, and we've never been the same since.

Those sleeves look like something off of a 1980s prom dress, but Meghan still looks perfect. No complaints here.

There's a lot going on with this striped dress, but Meghan is wearing it like it's a basic gown she just threw on.

Anchors aweigh, ladies and gents! Meghan's sailor-inspired outfit was a winner, for sure.

Exposed Bra

img-of-media-slide-275729.jpg

This may be the boldest of all of Meghan's bold looks. The duchess accidentally exposed her black lace bra, and people acted like it was a catastrophe on a royal level.

Another Tuxedo Dress

You can take the duchess out of Suits, but can't take the Suits out of the duchess, right?

For a while, this particular shade of pink was Meghan's go-to royal color, and for good reason. It's unbelievably flattering on her.

Audrey-Inspired

Not too many people dare to try to recreate the iconic styles that Audrey Hepburn made her own, but Meghan is here, proving that it can be done.
