It's that time of year again — the most wonderful time of the year, that is! November is wrapped up like a present, and now we're officially in the jolliest month of the year. Good tidings to all who spent the last Friday of November shopping their hearts out for the perfect holiday presents (and a special shoutout to the Cyber Monday crowd!). Even clothing was at bargain prices. This should make it easier to decide on what to wear this holiday season, but the options, as always, are endless.
Still stumped on winter fashion? Well, look no further for inspiration than Kate Middleton.
We love how the Duchess of Cambridge seems to have a prestigious-looking coat for every occasion. We all know how beautiful Kate looks in red, but we don't give enough appreciation to her green ensembles! Throughout the years, she's accrued a number of royally gorgeous outfits that just so happen to be perfect for the holidays. She's worn reds, she's worn greens, she's worn reds and greens — and it hasn't always been for Christmas, either!
We can always count on Kate to be the essence of elegance in the royal family. Despite how highly praised her closet is, we're still laughing about how Prince William jokingly implied that one of Kate's outfits was Christmas-tree like. See — even the Duke of Cambridge sees it! Whether it's Christmas day or just a cold month, Kate can't help but serve some holiday realness. We're already putting a few of these outfits on our Christmas lists!
Poinsettia Plaid
Kate's got us wanting to decorate our houses with beautiful, Christmas flora! Strange that her bouquet doesn't seem to have any poinsettias in it, but nevertheless, her coat is stunning! Also, that hat is everything.
Christmas Cheer
Merry Christmas, Kate! Her fashion is bringing us closer and closer to the holidays. It feels like she's always holding a beautiful bundle of flowers as an accessory, too. What we'd give to walk in her (literal) shoes!
Mrs. Claus
We would say "YASS Queen," but she's a duchess. We are getting some serious Mrs. Claus realness from this gorgeous red ensemble. BTW, is it just us, or does Kate's hair always look picture-ready for every occasion?
Wrapped Up
Why aren't hats like these readily available to the public? It's the perfect Christmas fashion statement. Kate looks as bundled as a Christmas present, here — and her outfits are a beautiful holiday gift for us all!
Cranberry Dressings
Kate Middleton is known for her vibrant red outfits, and when the holiday season rolls around, it becomes all the more fitting. Everyone agrees: Red looks amazing on her! The Duchess of Cambridge owns this color.
Lean in Green
Kate is always ready for the cold season, wherever she goes. This green-and-white look reminds us of snow on a Christmas tree. Honestly, leggings aren't enough for the cold season — let's follow Kate's lead and bring out the pants!
Let It Snow
The weather outside is frightful! That's because of global warming, and everyone should be alarmed. But since we've no place to go, take this picture of Kate Middleton in the snow. Yup. Classic holiday jingle.
Mistletoe Miss
Look at that smile! Kate knows how fashionable she is. Everything from the hat to the matching flowers makes us green with envy! ThatĀ boutonniere is floral and adorable — it reminds us of Christmas mistletoe!
Red Fur
We simply can't get enough of Kate's fur coats. The best part is that she's leading the pack when it comes to faux fur. Cruelty free fashion! Plus, look at little Charlotte. It looks like both of them are ready for the holidays!
Christmas Pining
Oh Christmas tree, oh Christmas tree — how lovely are Kate's outfits? Not only are they stylish, but they're practical, too! For whatever Kate wears, it always seems like she has a coat to match her dress (or vice versa!)
Warm & Cozy
Everyone loves that part of the holidays where family comes over and there's a whole lot of waiting/standing around between conversations. Kate seems to #KnowThatFeel, here. Welp, time to go get more punch!
Tinsel Glow
The Duchess of Cambridge is the master of subtlety and elegance. Here we have a lovely, verdant outfit — complete with just a hint of red for that Christmas look. It just goes to show that accessories can make or break an aesthetic!
Nutcracker Sweet
No one looks more ravishing in red than Kate Middleton! Those opulent buttons make us think of The Nutcracker. Red and gold is an underrated Christmas color combo for sure! Move over, green — Kate's got a new BFF.
On Holiday
It doesn't have to be winter for things to be festive. This green, long-sleeved dress would be perfect at any Christmas gathering. Kate just-so-happened to accidentally complete the red-and-green aesthetic with a single flower!
Gifts Galore
It may look like Kate is playing out the part of Santa Claus in this pic, but she's actually being given that stuffed bear! A little girl in Scotland gifted Kate the bear, complete with a tartan kilt. She's on Saint Nick's "nice" list for sure!
Pretty Plaid
Plaid used to be way underrated in the fashion industry, but now, it seems like it's the classiest thing to wear. Could this be Kate's doing? We know how much she loves the pattern, so we wouldn't be surprised!
Ribboned Up
Kate looks just like a present with that beautiful red-ribbon belt around her waist! That deep, cranberry red gets us thinking about warm tidings and presents under the tree. 'Tis the season to be prim and stylish!
Bundled With Care
There's nothing like a cozy scarf to snuggle into during the chilly season. It's fashionable, sensible, and can go with pretty much any outfit, depending on the color. Kate's scarf complements her coat in a seriously stylish way!
Jingle Belle
Not silver bells — golden bells! Or at least, that's what those buttons look like. They're not bells at all, but we can't help but think about sleigh bells and all sorts of holiday symbols when we look at this outfit. (Also, baby bump throwback!)
Snow Gear
While we love all of Kate's dressy dresses for the season, frost bite is no joke! Even the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge bundle up for the dropping temperatures — as should everyone! Stay safe and warm this December, folks!
