We know relationships are not easy. When we add celebrity status, temptation everywhere, and distance from their partner, it seems like a recipe for disaster. Some celebrities are still going strong years later, while others have had some pretty big hiccups along the way. Cheating happens, and it's not fun to have to work through the decision is to stay together or to move on from the relationship. For celebrities, given their status, it seems like there are way more cheating rumors, allegations, and confessions than the general population.
… and everyone has an opinion on what should be done.
Celebrities always seem to have cheating scandals surrounding them. Some are really serious allegations that turned out to be accurate, and others are played out in the media — and still no one really knows what happened. It can be hard at times to remember that these celebrities are people who have feelings like the rest of us, and these cheating allegations must be stressful, especially if the couple are expecting a baby when these rumors start playing out in public.
Some stars make their relationship work, and others choose to part ways. Still, for these celebrities, they happened to welcome a baby shortly after cheating rumors started circulating and that has got to increase the stress.
Here's a look at the celebrity couples who welcomed a child shortly after cheating rumors hit the headlines.
1. Kendra Wilkinson & Hank Baskett
Reality star Kendra Wilkinson and former NFL player Hank Baskett got married in 2009, shortly after they announced the two were going to become parents. The two had their ups and downs throughout their marriage, but when she was expecting their second child in 2014, rumors circulated that Hank had cheated on Kendra with a model.
Two months after the rumors went public, Kendra welcomed the couple's second child, and it was revealed that Hank had admitted to cheating. The pair tried to work out their differences and struggles before separating in 2018.
2. Khloé Kardashian & Tristan Thompson
In 2016, after months of speculation these two were a couple, Khloé Kardashian and Tristian Thompson made their first public appearance together. It seemed like these two were madly in love with each other, and December of 2017, the pair announced they were expecting their first child together.
For fans of the star, it sounded like Khloé was getting everything she had been wishing for.
Hit With a Huge Scandal
… Until rumors sparked that Tristian wasn't faithful to Khloé and had cheated on her. Those rumors turned out to be true, and a few days after video alleging Tristan had been linked to another woman, Khloé gave birth to their daughter. After their baby was born, the two went back and forth on their relationship, breaking up for a while. As of summer 2020, it appears Khloé and Tristian are back together.
3. Justin Timberlake & Jessica Biel
The first time Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel went public with their relationship was in 2007, and by 2011, it looked like the two were over. However, they had worked through whatever was causing issues, and the two got engaged later that year. After welcoming their first child together, all seemed happy … until late 2019, when cheating rumors started circulating about Justin.

The singer was photographed holding hands with actress Alisha Wainwright during a night out. The photos went viral, and although Justin said nothing more than that happened, the rumors didn't die — even after he publicly apologized. To everyone's surprise by mid-July the year after, it was reported that Justin and Jessica welcomed their second child. It hasn't been confirmed by the stars themselves, but people tried to work out the math that Jessica may have already been pregnant when the rumors of Justin cheating went viral.
4. Josh & Anna Duggar
Josh and Anna Duggar have had a more tumultuous relationship than most — especially since it started off with such innocent vibes. The former Counting On couple started courting in 2006, and then got married two years later in 2008. A year into their marriage, the two welcomed their first child, and then welcomed three more kids pretty quickly after that.
All seemed pretty status quo for the crew until mid-May 2015, when the news broke that Josh had been investigated as a teen for inappropriately touching five underage girls.
Big Public Scandal
Bad enough, right? Well, months after that, it was revealed Josh had cheated on Anna during their marriage. It was discovered he active accounts on Ashley Madison, a site designed to help people cheat on their spouses. Given how soon these rumors came out from the birth of their fourth child, it was rumored he cheated on Anna while she was pregnant.
5. Tori Spelling & Dean McDermott
The couple met in 2005, when Dean was still married to someone else. It seems the actors fell in love hard and fast, and by 2006 the two were married. Tori and Dean welcomed their first child in 2007, a second child in 2008, and then renewed their vows to each other in 2010. All seemed perfect and happy with the couple (they welcomed a third and fourth child), but everything changed in 2013 … when cheating rumors sparked between the two.
Curve Ball in 2014
By 2014, Dean had admitted publicly that he cheated on Tori, claiming he had a sex addiction and had checked himself into rehab. (Issues between these two had people speculating he had cheated on Tori when she was pregnant with their fourth child.) The pair worked it out and welcomed their fifth child before renewing their vows for a third time.
6. Kevin & Eniko Hart
Kevin and Eniko seemed like a perfectly happy couple when the news came that these two were going to get married. They announced their engagement in 2014, and the two enjoyed their engagement for two years before walking down the aisle on August 13, 2016. The following spring, the comedian and Eniko announced they were expecting their first child together, sharing the news on Mother's Day to honor Eniko's new role. The couple seemed in love and happy together, and were glowing and gleaming that they were growing their family together.
Cheating Allegations Arise
All that changed when rumors that Kevin had stepped out on Eniko surfaced, which he seemingly confirmed on his own in an Instagram post, owning up to a "bad error in judgment." (An alleged extortionist had footage of him cheating on Eniko.) A few months later, the two welcomed their first child together, and the two had worked through their issues and stayed together.
In March 2020, Eniko and Kevin revealed they are expecting their second child together.
7. Kim Kardashian & Kanye West
Whenever there's a popular couple who are both stars in their own rights, cheating rumors seem to circulate, and Kim Kardashian and Kanye West had their fair share of rumors, too. The two had been friends long before they became a couple, making it official in April 2012. Months later, the two announced they were expecting their first child, and during that time, rumors surfaced that Kanye may have cheated on Kim.
A woman named Leyla Ghobadi claimed that she had an affair with Kanye twice, and one of those times she claimed was when Kim was pregnant. The following month, the couple welcomed their daughter, North West, and Kanye denied ever cheating on Kim.
More Cheating Drama
The accusations of cheating didn't end there between these two. In 2018, rumors started heating up that Kim cheated on Kanye with rapper Drake. In his song, "In My Feelings," Drake calls Kim "Kiki," and people took that connection and ran with it, claiming it was proof she had cheated. Kim vehemently denied the claims saying, "Never happened. End of story" — and this story came out not long after the couple had welcomed their third child, Chicago West.
8. Ronnie Ortiz-Magro & Jen Harley
People grew to know Ronnie Ortiz-Magro as a guy who had his summer fun filmed and broadcast on Jersey Shore. On July 22, 2017, Ronnie and Jen went public with their relationship after an incident happened where Jen allegedly threw a bottle at Ronnie in a club. No one took their relationship too seriously until Christmas 2017, when the two announced they were expecting a baby together. Ronnie started filming the next season of Jersey Shore, and there were whispers of cheating before the couple welcomed their daughter in April 2018.
Crap Hitting the Fan
Ronnie was filming Jersey Shore while his girlfriend was still pregnant, and during an episode — that aired in late April — it seemed to show Ronnie cheating on his then-pregnant girlfriend. Ronnie had locked himself in a bathroom with a woman he had met at the bar, and it didn't look pretty. Pauly D went to intervene, and then Ronnie leaves the room saying to Pauly, "As soon as you knocked on the door I was like, 'This is not a good move.'"
