If you’ve ever welcomed a baby before, you already know that it doesn’t matter how “normal” or common of a name you choose, somebody somewhere is going to have something negative to say about it. So when it comes to the baby names that are truly off the wall, it goes without saying that the trolls will come out of nowhere to let the new mom know exactly what they think about it.
That’s what’s happening to influencer Abbie Herbert this week after she revealed the name of her third baby on social media. Let’s just say people believe this name is better suited to a dog than an actual, human baby.

After documenting her pregnancy experience as she and husband Josh Herbert awaited the arrival of their third baby, now that he’s here, she’s sharing updates on the newest member of her family.
In a TikTok video she shared this week, featuring footage of some of the first moments she got to spend with her brand new son in the operating room after her c-section. Over the video, she wrote, “Introducing our beautiful boy…” before showing him wearing a sweater with his name on it: Rocky Blue.
People are not holding back their opinions on this one.
The comments are flooded with people who aren’t afraid to say they don’t love this name, between the comparisons they’re making to Zendaya’s character in the Disney Channel series Shake It Up — which also happened to be Rocky Blue — and the multiple people saying that this name would be better suited to a dog, not a human being.
In another TikTok video, she explained that the Zendaya thing was a total coincidence, but people still did not excuse it. “So you all want your babies to hate you when they grow up?” one person wrote, while another commented, “America needs laws on naming kids at this point.”
Abbie has always gone for more unique baby names.
Abbie and Josh are already parents to two older kids, including a 4-year-old daughter named Poppy and a 2-year-old son named Jagger.
And to be totally fair, while these names are all a bit more uncommon than others, there are still plenty of babies out there with them. After all, both Kourtney Kardashian and Rihanna did name their babies Rocky (or in Rihanna’s case, Rocki) in recent years…
