Is Adele a married woman? Some fans certainly seem to think so after an off-handed comment the singer made during one of the shows of her "Weekends With Adele" residency in Las Vegas this week. On Saturday, Adele mentioned her "husband" while talking to the crowd — seemingly referencing boyfriend Rich Paul — leading fans to believe that this was her way of hard launching their marriage to the world. Did yet another celebrity wedding happen behind the scenes without anyone finding out?

The moment she dropped the news was very casual.
Every night, Adele takes the time to chat with members of her audience, and Saturday was no different — but this time, she may have revealed something about her personal life.
When a female fan told Adele she wanted to marry her, Adele responded, "You can’t marry me. I’m straight, my love. And my husband’s here tonight."
She appeared to be referencing Rich.

Adele and Rich, a well-known sports agent who counts LeBron James among his clients, have kept their relationship very private, only being spotted out together here and there. They've been together since at least 2021, though the Los Angeles Times reported that Adele has said they were friends for a long time before they began a romantic relationship.
Fans are buzzing about this possible new development.
There's been a lot of chatter online about Adele saying she has a husband — and some fans are taking this as her official announcement of their marriage, though neither of their reps have confirmed it yet.
"That’s very exciting for them. I love how she just says it in passing like everyone knew," one person tweeted.

It wasn't until September 2021 that Adele made their relationship Instagram official.
Adele shared three photos after she and Rich attended Anthony Davis and Marlen P's wedding in Los Angeles in September 2021. The first two were solo shots of the singer, but the final photo was Adele and Rich together.
She simply captioned the photo with a red heart emoji. What more is there to say?
So far, Adele hasn't offered any further comment on her possible marriage.
It's hard to say if she meant "husband" in the legal sense or if she was just referring to Rich as her husband as some people do when they're in a long-term, committed relationship with someone, but either way, she seems happy.
Fingers crossed that wedding photos are on the way if she is truly married!
