Alexa PenaVega is sharing some heartbreaking news with her fans and social media followers this week. On Monday, the celebrity mom and actress took to Instagram to share that her fourth baby was stillborn. After being open about the ups and downs of her pregnancy in the wake of announcing the news back in November 2023, this is a devastating update. Alexa and husband Carlos are already parents to three little ones: Ocean, 7, Kingston, 4, and Rio, 2.

Alexa shared the news in an Instagram post.
On Monday, Alexa updated fans on the birth of her baby girl, Indy, who she wrote was "born at rest."
"This little girl has already changed our lives in so many ways," she wrote. "She was absolutely beautiful. And looked just like daddy. Dark hair and all. Grief comes to us in waves. Moments of feeling absolutely gutted … then moments of feeling blessed just by getting a moment with her."
She ended the post with a message to her baby girl.
"Indy Rex PenaVega, you completely changed our world," she continued. "You moved us to a new place. You gave us the community we had been longing for. We love you. Can't wait to see how many other lives you change."
Alexa, Carlos, and their kids moved to Tennessee last month, opting to live in a house rather than the house boat they'd been hoping to sail around the world in.
Alexa and Carlos announced their pregnancy in November.
Alongside a photo of the couple that featured Alexa wearing a shiny purple dress that showed off her growing baby bump, they wrote, "Thank God we love adventures. Oh baby here we come! Número cuatro!"

She was hospitalized during her pregnancy.
In March, Alexa shared in a YouTube vlog that she'd been hospitalized for more than five days after she'd begun bleeding in her third trimester.
"Long story short, after a lot of time in the hospital, and tests, and bleeding calming down and everything, and ruling out all possibilities, it looks like I have had a separation of my placenta from my uterus. Not completely, a partial," she shared.
We'll be thinking of Alexa during this difficult time.
Here's hoping that she and her family are able to have as much privacy and time as they need to grieve such a heartbreaking loss — and that they will have plenty of love and support around them during what must be an impossibly tough time.
