Amy shared the whole process on Instagram Stories.
Though her posts have since expired, The Sun captured screenshots that show that Amy seems to have partnered with a local cosmetic clinic as she shared her experience getting Botox for the very first time.
"I've never had botox before, I've never had any kind of fillers on my face — but today that all changes," she said.
She filmed the injection process itself too.
She ended up getting an injection to lift her brows to help get rid of a line that appears when she "scrunches her nose," and according to the smile on her face, it seemed like it was all pretty painless.
Amy added that she would be back in two weeks for another round of injections.
People were not impressed.
As The Sun reported, Duggar critics on Reddit were quick to marvel over the fact that Amy was getting a procedure like this done at all at age 36.
"The beauty industry has really made suckers out of people. It’s sad that people in their 30s and younger feel they need to get procedures to look younger," one person wrote.
Others scoffed at how expensive injections like these can be.

Amy seemed to love the experience.
And in the end, that's really what matters most — after all, it's her face, and she's the one who has to live with it.
She was all smiles throughout the entire procedure, and it wouldn't be surprising to find out that she was offered a deal in exchange for documenting the process for her more than 400,000 Instagram followers.
Amy seems happy with the results.
It wouldn't be too surprising if she ends up documenting her next visit in a couple of weeks too, so it'll be interesting to see how she feels about the whole thing by then after she's seen the full effects of her injections.
Some people love them and some people hate them. Amy seems to love them so far.
