Amy Duggar Says Her Husband Dillon Is Facing ‘Life Threatening’ Medical Issues

It sounds like Amy Duggar didn’t get to celebrate her husband, Dillon King, the way she wanted to on his birthday. On Thursday, she shared a worrying update: Dillon is facing “life threatening medical concerns” and seems to have been hospitalized recently, forcing the family to put their fun plans on pause.

Amy shared a photo of Dillon in a hospital bed.

In honor of Dillon’s birthday, Amy shared a carousel of photos of her husband, starting with one that showed him lying in a hospital bed in what appears to be the emergency room of a hospital.

“Normally we’d be celebrating in a huge way but currently we are facing some possible life threatening medical concerns,” Amy wrote in her caption. “Today I’d like to ask for some prayers on his behalf. I know God has him, but we welcome the prayers!! I can’t think of a better gift for him!”

She added, “Dillon we can get through anything together.”

The news comes just as Dillon’s lawsuit came to a close.

Earlier this week, a fan on Reddit shared legal documents that showed that Dillon had finally paid off the $200k bill he was ordered to pay by the court after he failed to pay rent at his restaurant, Wellington’s.

If he had been unable to cough up the cash, he may have been facing prison time, so there’s no doubt this has been a stressful experience for Dillon and Amy.

Not everyone is convinced he’s truly in danger.

On Reddit, many people are critical about Dillon’s health concerns, with some believing that Amy’s just trying to get attention.

“Classic Amy turning someone else’s medical emergency into her spiritual spotlight. Just say ‘happy birthday’ and log off, girl,” one commenter wrote.

Another person added, “If you still have your trucker hat on you are not that sick.”

Amy says she’ll share another update soon.

Later on Thursday night, Amy shared a video on her Instagram Stories about the post she’d made regarding Dillon’s health.

“I just wanted to come on here and say thank you so much for all of the prayers. They really did mean a lot,” she said. “I’ll explain more later. It’s just – it’s been a lot.”
