Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes are living under the same roof — for the time being, that is! On an episode of their podcast, Morning Run with Amy & T.J., the pair discussed their temporary living arrangements amid a severe roach infestation that broke out at the apartment of Amy’s oldest daughter, 19-year-old Ava McIntosh. She shares Ava and Annie McIntosh with her first ex-husband, Tim McIntosh. Although it wasn’t revealed for how long the 51-year-old reporter and T.J. will share the same living quarters, they did speak of how it’s been thus far.

It wasn't 'by choice.'
In the podcast intro, T.J. gives a small update. “We have a lot we want to say and a lot we want to share with you right now in this episode of Amy and TJ, including the fact that Robach and I have been living together full time as of two weeks ago,” he said. “It was not by choice.”
Later on in the podcast, he said, “Speaking of Ava, Ava is the reason that Robach and I are living together… a lot of people have been asking for a while about our living situation.”
T.J. says there's benefits to the situation.
“Our respective apartments are easily walkable, so we go back and forth all the time. But we’re together every single day, every single night, essentially living together,” T.J. continued. “But now it’s beneficial.”
Amy laughed as she jumped in, explaining that her daughter has an apartment in Greenwich Village that has a “massive roach infestation” that they’ve been trying to battle. “She has a hoarder living next door. Guys, if you don’t know about the squatters, he hasn’t paid rent in six years and they can’t get him out of the apartment.”

Ava asked to come live with her mom.
Amy continued, revealing that Ava asked to come live with her, along with the daughter’s roommate. “They are getting a new apartment within the building away from this man, this hoarder,” she said. “But in the meantime, I’ve got people all in my apartment living with me, and so I’ve just said, ‘Hey, y’all knock yourselves out. I’ll be at T.J.’s.'”
T.J. has enjoyed their time together.
“I’ve enjoyed the time and we’ve had together, and it’s been a little different, but I’ve liked it,” the 47-year-old journalist said. “I’ve liked the different type of routine where we know where we’re going to end up every night … instead of having a plan.” Amy added that the two are getting a “trial run” when it comes to living together.
There's only one issue they have.
According to T.J., the only issue they’ve run into is how they sleep. For Amy, she’s always too hot while he is always “freezing.”
“Y’all should see us. It’s this awful scene to where you literally … can look at the bed and you see on one side … is a light skin head and dark hair sticking out with all the covers covering them,” he joked. “On the other side. You see a butt-naked white woman on top.”
