Angelina previously told E! News that her kids are “especially shy, very private people, and they want to be private.” In spite of this, her son Knox attended the 2024 Governors Awards as her plus-one. At the time, an insider told Page Six that Knox simply wanted to support his mom.

“He typically prefers to stay out of the spotlight and Angelina respects that decision, but he asked if he could join her, and of course she was thrilled that he wanted to be there,” the source said.

Maddox and Pax helped out behind the scenes as their mom filmed ‘Maria.’

Her sons were “doing [assistant directing] work” for the film. She previously told The Hollywood Reporter that “it really meant a lot that my boys were with me on Maria.”

“When I would have really heavy times, they would come over and just give me a hug or a cup of tea,” she added.

Angelina also strives to give her kids ‘space.’

In doing so, she hopes that they “figure out who they actually are and something that they want to live for that’s authentic to them so it holds in their life,” she said during the panel.

Though none of her kids want to be on screen, they still have their own passions that they’re exploring. “Some of them dance, some of them paint, some of them love theater, but none of them are dying to be on screen,” she explained.
