Angelina Jolie and British rapper Akala, whose birth name is Kingslee James McLean Daley, have sparked dating rumors once again. The 49-year-old actress and 40-year-old musician were spotted attending the same event in photos shared to Instagram. The event took place in New York, with Angelina as the host for her clothing company Atelier Jolie. Though not photographed together, the two appeared in separate pictures. Fans, however, didn’t gloss over the fact that they were in attendance at the same event.

The photos were shared to the Atelier Jolie Instagram page.
“Atelier Jolie welcomed Mustafa at 57 Great Jones, hosting a special listening party and panel discussion for his debut album, Dunya, out now,” the caption on the page read. “Join us in celebrating this stunning 12-song collection, where folk meets poetry. The album is available to stream now on all platforms.”
Angelina and Akala have been spotted together multiple times.
The most recent photos come not too long after Akala appeared at the 62nd New York Film Festival premiere of Angelina’s film Maria. In November 2023, they were also seen leaving a restaurant in Milan, and six months earlier they were spotted at the Calabash Literary Festival in Jamaica.

Sources close to Angelina says they're not dating.
Sources close to the Academy Award winner told TMZ that the two aren’t dating. The insiders said that Angelina and Akala are just friends. TMZ was told that she is not pursuing anyone and is instead “keeping her focus on her family and her career.”
Insiders also said Akala has a girlfriend.
The sources also said Akala already has a girlfriend named Chanelle, according to TMZ. They claimed that she was present when he was photographed with Angelina in Italy but was cropped out of the paparazzi photos. They also said Angelina is friends with Chanelle, and all three of them have known each other for years.
Angela admitted to not having much of a social life after her split from Brad Pitt.
Angelina and Brad split in 2016. In a 2023 interview with the WSJ Magazine, she talked about not having much of a social life and not being focused on dating. She considers her closest people to be her kids.
“They are the closest people to me and my life, and they’re my close friends,” she said. “We’re seven very different people, which is our strength.”
