Anna Duggar has basically been radio silent on social media in the years since husband Josh Duggar began serving time behind bars in federal prison after he was convicted on charges involving child sexual assault material. But now, she’s making an exception — and sharing a rare glimpse of her two youngest children in the process.
The video was shared on Anna’s business Instagram account.
In the video that Anna shared on the account for her dog breeding business, Golden Grove Pups, Maryella and Madyson can be seen wearing matching dresses and playing with a golden retriever puppy in what appears to be their shared bedroom.
“We love having these sweet pups in our home as little playmates with our kiddos,” Anna wrote in the caption. “Every moment with these puppies is pure joy!”
The account keeps a pretty low profile.
The Golden Grove Pups account has less than 500 followers, and Anna seems to keep things strictly business. Though her children do occasionally make appearances in the videos that she shares of the puppies who are available for adoption, Anna herself isn’t featured, and her name (including her famous last name) isn’t attached to the account.
Anna seems to have started the business sometime in the last year.
Anna registered the business in Arkansas in 2024 as an LLC, using in-laws Michelle and Jim Bob‘s address. Immediately, her business was a controversial one. Of course, Anna has to make money to support her seven children somehow since she’s a single mom for the foreseeable future, but many critics believed that she was essentially running a “puppy mill.”
“Every Golden Grove pup comes with official AKC registration, certifying their purebred status as an English Cream Golden Retriever. This is more than a document — it is a mark of distinguished heritage, backed by the world’s most trusted canine registry,” says the Golden Grove Pups website.
The business continues to draw controversy from critics.
After Anna shared the new video of her daughters, critics on Reddit still don’t seem particularly impressed with the business.
“Is this a puppy from Anna’s new breeding venture? Poor pups,” one person wrote.
Another added, “She shouldn’t use her children to advertise — child predators may seek them out even more due to their father’s notoriety. Interesting that not a single Duggar follows her or comments on the posts. They all don’t want anything to do with her.”
