The since-expired post, which was captured by the Daily Mail, features a photo of Ashley drifting off to dreamland with what looks like two carefully applied pieces of tape over her mouth.

"I started taping my mouth shut when I sleep and I have never slept better — and even better when I wake up," she captioned the snapshot. "Don't knock it till you try it!!"

The idea gained popularity as a viral TikTok trend.

According to the Cleveland Clinic, many people are turning to tape to tame their nocturnal troubles. Some have experienced relief from snoring, allergies, and even bad breath by keeping their mouths closed while they sleep.

Unfortunately, the practice hasn't gotten the seal of approval from medical experts, who say there's not enough "scientific evidence to support the anecdotal benefits behind this viral trend."

Ashley seems to have benefited from the practice.

Not only is Ashley raving about how great she feels, but she also has been showing off how great she looks as well. The newly minted mom of three — she and husband Justin Ervin welcomed twin sons Malachi and Roman in January 2022 — has shared a slew of smoking hot photos recently, with many of them showing off her noticeably slimmer shape.

She's getting plenty of recognition, too.

The 35-year-old model landed the coveted honor of appearing on the cover of Maxim magazine's "Hot 100" issue in May. Ashley is beaming in the sultry photos, which put her gorgeously curvy figure on full display. There isn't anything that can stop her sparkle from coming through!

We're a little less eager to try this trick now that we know it's not backed by medical experts.

As parents of young children ourselves, we're always keen to find out how we can get a better night's sleep so we have the energy to keep up with our little ones, which is why Ashley's hack seems so enticing. We may wait to learn a little more about it, however, before we run out and get a supply of Scotch tape.

That being said, if taping our mouth shut at night made us look like Ashley does right now, we'd probably forgo the medical review and take the risk — she's positively glowing.
