Ashley St. Clair Offers Donald Trump Advice as His Relationship With Elon Musk Falls Apart

Now that his relationship with Elon Musk is in shambles, President Donald Trump has received advice from an unlikely source: Ashley St. Clair, the mother of one of Musk’s children. Trump and Musk are currently in the middle of a public falling out, which many people have made jokes and memes about on social media. On June 5, St. Clair — who has also had a pretty messy relationship with Musk — weighed in.

In February, St. Clair announced that she had welcomed a baby with Musk.

Conservative influencer Ashley St. Clair took to social media to announce that she had welcomed a child in September 2024. “Elon Musk is the father,” she wrote at the time. In the months that followed, the situation got messier. When St. Clair filed a paternity petition and a petition seeking sole custody, she alleged that Musk had only met their child a few times and shared some disturbing texts that he had sent to her.

Then, at the end of March, Musk and St. Clair publicly argued on social media, much like Musk and Trump are doing in June. After a video of St. Clair saying she had to sell her Tesla to “make up for the 60 percent cut that Elon made to our son’s child support” went viral, Musk respond to the clip on X.

ā€œI don’t know if the child is mine or not, but am not against finding out. No court order is needed,ā€ he wrote. “Despite not knowing for sure, I have given Ashley $2.5M and am sending her $500k/year.”

St. Clair then responded with, “Elon, we asked you to confirm paternity through a test before our child (who you named) was even born. You refused. And you weren’t sending *me* money, you were sending support for your child that you thought was necessary …”

She then went on to allege that Musk “withdrew most of it to maintain control and punish me for ā€˜disobedience.’”

Since St. Clair has experience arguing with Musk, she offered Trump some advice.

St. Clair and Musk’s paternity and custody battle is ongoing, but St. Clair clearly knows a thing or two about navigating a complicated relationship with the billionaire. As Trump’s public feud with Musk continues, St. Clair let the president know that she’s willing to help. “hey @realDonaldTrump lmk if u need any breakup advice,” she wrote on X on June 5.

St. Clair is one of many people making jokes about Trump and Musk’s ‘breakup.’

On Thursday, May 29, Musk announced that his time as a Trump administration Special Government Employee had come to an end. Trump called Musk “terrific” at the time, but their relationship has since deteriorated, sparking jokes about their “breakup.”

“This Musk-Trump breakup is juicier than anything I’ve ever seen on General Hospital or Young & the Restless,” one person wrote on X.

Rep. Jimmy Gomez chimed in with, “Hey Trump, let me know if you need a good Taylor Swift song suggestion to help you handle this breakup.”
