Former Little People, Big World star Audrey Roloff is no stranger to receiving criticism about her parenting choices online, but with one of her newest videos, she may have passed the point of no return. Audrey took to Instagram to share the bizarre, ultra-strict rules she has in place for her four children to follow, and even though the backlash she got caused her to delete the post altogether, the internet is forever. People did not forget, Audrey!
Audrey runs a tight ship.
Audrey and her husband, Jeremy Roloff, are parents to four kids under the age of 9: Ember, Bode, Radley, and Mira. Not only is Audrey a stay at home mom to her kids, but she also homeschools them, so the family all spends a lot of time together… and during that time, there are plenty of rules in place.
Though Audrey has deleted her video, it’s still circulating online, so her strict rules are still out there. As The Sun reported, some of them aren’t that out there. Her kids aren’t allowed to drink soda, and they must put away their own laundry.
But then, there are rules that seem extra harsh. Audrey mentioned that her children are required to do exercise as a punishment. For example, running a lap around the house, “rain or shine,” for being “disrespectful,” while other offenses will mean they have to do push ups or burpees.
People are finding a lot of issues with Audrey’s rules.

Audrey has sparked quite a debate about her parenting methods on Reddit, where one critic called her “borderline abusive” for using exercise as a consequence for breaking family rules.
“Great way to make them hate exercise and see it as a punishment,” one person wrote.
Others were more focused on the ways that Audrey said she pushes her kids to “hug for five seconds” after they’ve had an argument.
Another commenter said, “Forced physical contact, forced ‘forgiveness,’ forced physical activity as punishment? Yeah, this woman’s kids are gonna have several complexes.”
She’s being compared to Ruby Franke, which isn’t exactly a compliment.

Audrey is also causing a stir on TikTok, where people are comparing her to Ruby Franke, the YouTuber mom who is currently serving time in prison after she was convicted of child abuse.
“Ruby, is that you?” one commenter asked on a video about the situation, while another wanted to know, “is this bootcamp?”
It sure sounds a lot like it.
To each mom her own, but is Audrey really surprised that people are taken aback by these rules? Many kids thrive on structure and consequences, but running laps around the house in the rain does sound like a bit much — especially for kids who are all 8 years old and younger.
