Audrey Roloff Talks About the Possibility of Her Future Children Having Dwarfism

This former Little People, Big World star is opening up about a question a lot of fans have been wondering about. In an Instagram Q&A, Audrey opened up about her future children possibly having dwarfism like husband Jeremy Roloff's brother and parents all do. Could it happen?

Audrey answered fan questions on Instagram.

One of them asked, "Is there a chance your children or children's children could have dwarfism?"

It's a valid question to ask — it does run in Jeremy's family, and although none of his and Audrey's children have been born with it, all three of brother Zach's children do have dwarfism.

As it turns out, Jeremy and Audrey aren't more likely to have a child with dwarfism than anyone else.

As she explained, she and Jeremy don't carry the gene for the type of dwarfism that Amy and Zach have.

"If we have a baby with their type of dwarfism it would be a random genetic mutation because neither of us carry the gene since it’s dominant," she said.

Matt Roloff's type of dwarfism comes from a recessive gene, which means that she and Jeremy could potentially carry that, but they haven't been tested to know for sure.

It does sound like they are planning to have more children.

In fact, in another Q&A post, she revealed she's taking a prenatal vitamin, which she later explained was to prepare her body for a future pregnancy.

"I've never been consistent taking it before getting pregnant so trying to get ahead of it this time!" she wrote.

Audrey is already a mom of three.

She and Jeremy share their daughter Ember, 5, along with sons Bode, 3, and Radley, 16 months.

Considering the spacing between their children so far, it wouldn't be surprising if Audrey had some exciting news to share sometime this year.

It should be interesting to see what the future holds for these two.

With their new farmhouse, plans to add more children to their family, and the adventures they're always having with the kids they're already raising, there never seems to be a dull moment for these two.

What will be their next adventure?
