Audrey Roloff is not new to criticism or to people not understanding her well. While she’s no longer on the family reality show, Little People, Big World, she’s still active on social media and both fans and critics follow along as she shares snippets of her life.
Recently, the mom of three answered some questions on social media and she responded to a one of the topics with a confession that had critics confused.
On Instagram, Audrey did a short Q&A session, answering a variety of questions from her followers.
On February 17, Audrey shared some answers to fan questions on her Instagram Stories, and one of the asks was just one word: deodorant.
Hard to know what the person who wrote the prompt was trying to ask or get at, but Audrey took it to discuss her use of deodorant or her favorite products.
Plus, she shared a confession about her use of deodorant, too.
"I have to confess … I hardley wear deodorant,” a caption on the photo featuring a natural deodorant read. "Idk I just really never needed it but if I'm gonna do it this is what I've been using for the past year or so.”
She concluded: "No joke that's how long it's lasted me."
Someone shared a screengrab of the Instagram Story confession and shared it to a popular Reddit thread.
Posting to Reddit’s Little People Big World community, under the thread “Audrey’s Q&A of totally unscripted questions everyone’s dying to know the answers to.”
And her confession left critics confused and they didn’t hold back.
'The deodorant one is such a bizarre flex. Like … ok??' one person wrote.
“All of her flexes are weird,” a Redditor replied. “She’s strangely competitive in the oddest areas.”
“So she STINKS on top of it all,” wrote someone else. “I cannot.”
“Anyone who says they don’t need it, they’re lying lmao,” another Redditor replied.
“You need deodorant dear, don't say that you don't,” someone else wrote.
Another Redditor simply wrote, "Gross."
Audrey isn’t new to online hate — she seems to get more than her fair share.
We get that no one is going to have the praise and love of everyone, and that navigating social media after a reality TV show is hard. But we’re still confused on why Audrey gets so much hate for just living her life.
Last week, Audrey shared that she wears her pajamas for three nights in a row and people went off on her. The week prior, Audrey shared a video of her kiddos that sparked concern for their safety.
