Audrey Roloff Slammed for Letting Toddler Radley Make a Dangerous Climb

Former Little People, Big World star Audrey Roloff has made some questionable social media posts in the past, but it’s not often that they make people concerned for her kids’ safety the way one of her most recent uploads did.

Over the weekend, Audrey shared a video of her 4-year-old, Radley, climbing on top of one of the family’s utility vehicles while his big sister, 8-year-old Ember, is perched on the roof of their house right next to him, and critics are convinced that she’s putting them both in grave danger.

Audrey shared the footage as the family decorated the outside of their house for the holidays.

Parenting at its finest. 😳

One user in a Little People, Big World subreddit shared a screenshot from Audrey’s Instagram Stories over the weekends that showed a worrying scene outside of the family’s home. In the picture, Radley can be seen on top of a vehicle several feet off the ground, and Ember is sitting on the roof, barefoot.

There’s not an adult in sight — except for Audrey, of course, who was likely the one taking the photo. Her husband, Jeremy Roloff, seemed to be busy handling the family’s outdoor Christmas decorations.

“While Jer was putting the lights on here’s our 3rd child. And I have no clue what he’s saying,” Audrey wrote on the post.

Some people are truly worried for the kids’ safety.

This moment ended up calling Audrey and Jeremy’s parenting into question by several critics who didn’t think this was very safe behavior for two young kids to be taking part in.

“I’ve said in previous posts that I’ve seen these kids on Instagram live with Amy before and they’ve been unruly, and now we see why. I don’t believe there’s ever any parenting. They’ve turn into ‘things’ Audrey can post for content,” one person wrote.

Another commented, “No adult even supervising. So far away they need to zoom in on camera. This is so extremely sad.”

One person thinks that Audrey posted the shot to worry people intentionally, writing, “Kids climb. It’s gonna be ok. Also, please don’t engage with her. This is 💯 rage bait.”

Audrey has always been about “free range” parenting.

Anyone who has kept up with Audrey on social media knows that she’s a bit of a “crunchy” mama — she homeschools her four children and they all seem to spend a lot of time outside (and yes, barefoot).

If this is how she chooses to raise her children, more power to her… but it is a little alarming to think about one of them falling off the roof. It would be heartbreaking to see anyone get hurt!
