As Colton Underwood continues to land new reality TV roles, Demi Burnett is wondering why people seem to be forgetting something significant about him. In a video shared to multiple social media platforms, Demi reminded her followers (and fans of The Traitors, which Colton is currently on) that the former football player was accused of stalking his ex-girlfriend in 2020. Demi asserted that the fact that Colton continues to appear on reality TV, including on The Traitors, actually makes her “sick.”
She cited articles about Cassie Randolph‘s restraining order against Colton.
Demi, who appeared on season 23 of The Bachelor with Cassie and Colton, shared screenshots of articles about the restraining order Cassie filed against Colton after their eventual breakup. According to court docs, Cassie alleged that Colton stalked and harassed her, tracked her car, and sent her threatening texts, including ones sent anonymously through alias phone numbers.
In her video, Demi described Colton’s behavior as “frightening” and “f—ing sick.” She also said it “blows (her) mind that they allow him on any television show” at this point.
She doesn’t think it’s fair to say Colton simply ‘made a mistake.’
To her, the harmful behavior goes beyond what she would describe as “a mistake.” She said, “So everyone who’s saying, ‘He made a mistake,’ like, what? That is not a mistake. He thought about this, and he still decided to go through with it multiple times. He thought about all of this. He premeditated all of this. This is all really, really scary types of thinking patterns, people.”
She asserted that she doesn’t think Colton should be on The Traitors, and she also finds it disgusting that Cassie has not found success in the reality TV world in the way that Colton has. Colton continues to land roles on “show after show after show,” Demi argued, and now he’s on The Traitors, which she described as “the show to be on.” She continued, “I haven’t seen my friend Cassie on any shows at all since then. Why have I seen her abuser on, like, five, and I haven’t seen her on any? Like, that makes no sense to me. Like, that makes me sick. It keeps me up at night.”

Demi thinks Colton came out as gay to distract people from his behavior.
In April 2021, Colton publicly came out as gay during an appearance on Good Morning America. The timing of it all is suspicious to Demi. People were “so shocked” by Colton coming out that they were able to “forget about all of that psychotic behavior,” Demi claimed. She doesn’t think it was a coincidence. “The craziest part is that was all part of his plan. He did this on purpose,” she alleged. “He came out right at this time on purpose, so people would not pay attention to what we had all just discovered, which is that he is a stalker. He is dangerous to women.”
In the caption, she clarified that “this is NOT an excuse to be homophobic or to bother cassie with any of this.” And not long after she shared the video, she took to X to say, “colton blocked me 🤭”
