Ben Affleck Subtly Shuts Down Jennifer Lopez Divorce Rumors in New Interview

After weeks of rumors that Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez's fairy tale love story is coming to an end, we might be a little closer to figuring out the truth. During a new talk show appearance that debuted this week, Ben seemed to shut down the rumors that he and J.Lo are getting divorced, despite all evidence to the contrary, sharing a bit more intel about his wife along the way. This is definitely an interesting update …

Ben appeared on Kevin Hart's new talk show this week.

As he chatted with the comedian on Hart to Heart they covered a lot of topics, including Ben's former Sexiest Man title. But of course, what people really want to hear about is his marriage to J.Lo, and he touched on that, too.

After recent reports, what he had to say might surprise you.

He didn't come right out and confirm or deny the rumors.

Instead, it was more about the way he talked about J.Lo — definitely not at all like you'd expect someone would talk about their ex. In fact, he even referred to her as "my wife" in the interview, another sign that these two are still together, no matter what the headlines might look like right now.

He talked about her 'bananas' level of fame.

“We went somewhere with [Jennifer] — I can’t remember because she’s so famous, and she creates this — people love her, and she really represents something important to people,” he said, admitting that it's very different from the reaction he gets when he meets a fan. “It’s amazing, you know what I mean?”

He also admitted he often looks so grumpy in pictures because he's 'a little shy.'

“I don’t like a lot of attention. This is why people see me and they’re like, ‘Why is this dude always mad?’ Because someone had their camera sticking in my face, and I’m like, ‘OK, here we go,'" he said.

That sounds reasonable enough!

Maybe everything is fine between these two after all?

Over the weekend, J.Lo even posted a tribute to Ben in honor of Father's Day, sharing a photo of her husband from when he starred in Peal Harbor, calling him her "hero."

Things have seemed rocky between them, but maybe they're getting better?
