Bindi Irwin’s New Photo of Daughter Grace With a Red Panda Sparks Photoshop Controversy

After having celebrity mom status for three years at this point, it's probably safe to say that Bindi Irwin is used to people having plenty of opinions about what she posts online. But she may not have seen this controversy coming! After Bindi shared a picture of her daughter Grace with a red panda, some of her followers are accusing her of photoshopping the animal in – despite the fact that Bindi has dedicated her life to caring for animals just like this one.

In the snap, Bindi and 3-year-old Grace are sitting together outside with a red panda on their laps. How cute is that?

"Meet Teddy. The sweetest red panda with a true love for snack time," Bindi wrote in the caption of the post. "I hope you can meet him on your next #AustraliaZoo adventure …"

Though some shared what a cool picture this is (and honestly, it is — how many people will ever be able to get this up close and personal with a red panda?) others were convinced Bindi was trying to dupe them.

"Pretty sure that's a Photoshop image," one person wrote.

Another commenter added, "That guy looks wild! Almost looks fake."

Bindi wasted no time setting the record straight.

"I think it’s so funny how some people think that our sweet red panda was photoshopped. I can tell you with absolute certainty that these photos are 100% real (thank you @kateberryphotography for taking such beautiful pictures) and Teddy is in no way photoshopped," Bindi wrote in a comment on the post. "Hope you have a wonderful day and just a note … I’ll always share real wildlife moments with you. That’s kinda my thing …"

She also shared a video of her and Grace interacting with the panda.

Just in case anyone had any lingering doubts about this red panda being real, the video should take care of that.

Grace was so excited to see the panda, and somehow, she just knew to be gentle with Teddy while they spent time together. She's a natural around animals, just like her mom.

Growing up at the Australia Zoo must be so cool.

As Grace gets older, her mom has been sharing more photos on Instagram of her interacting with the coolest animals, from koalas to lemurs to tortoises. The Australia Zoo is such an amazing place for her to grow up. She probably knows more about animals than many adults do at this point.

We can't wait to see more!
