The royal family is so tight-lipped about their personal relationships that often times, body language experts are called in to decode the way they’re acting toward each other. And this time, people are absolutely not convinced that the experts know what they’re talking about. One is claiming that Prince William and Kate Middleton‘s recent appearances show that their marriage is better than ever, but nobody is buying it.
The body language expert claims that Will and Kate have been showing off PDA more than usual.
This new intel comes from The Daily Mail, which published body language expert Judi James’ take on Will and Kate’s recent PDA.
“Their rituals suggest there’s been no real change in the intensity of their love for one another—what’s happened is they have finally felt safe enough to trust, not each other, but the public and the press, to show it,” she said.
According to Judi, they feel happy and safe enough in their marriage that they “feel free to show their levels of mutual love and adoration by more tactile behaviors in public.”
Tactile, like holding hands? Which they’ve always done when the moment called for it? Hmm…
There was also a dig at Harry and Meghan thrown in for good measure.
Judi said that Will and Kate’s PDA seems to be pure intentioned, unlike Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, who apparently are only worried about keeping up appearances.
She said that Will and Kate’s PDA is “performed exclusively for each other, with the world being allowed to have a glimpse,” but Meghan and Harry’s lovey moments in public “tend to be display rituals to show the world how in love and close they are.”

People simply aren’t convinced that this analysis proves anything.
If the way people are sounding off about this story on Reddit is any indication, people just aren’t buying that the way Will and Kate have been acting toward each other lately means that they’re more in love than ever. In fact, a lot of them feel the opposite.
“They look like two people doing the minimum amount of mandatory PDA,” one commenter wrote. “They don’t like each other but there is this expectation that they show some amount of PDA so they do the bare minimum they think they can get away with.”
Others saw right through those Meghan and Harry comparisons: “You gotta love the British media and British experts prop up Will and Kate to be this fairytale couple and portray Meghan and Harry as the jealous relatives in competition with the so-called perfect couple.”
Hopefully, Will and Kate really are doing well — their family has really been through it over the past few years, so they’ve certainly earned a calm home life and happy marriage after surviving all of that.
But if there is trouble in royal paradise, it may not be a body language expert who sounds the first alarm.
