Nearly three months after Boy Meets World star Trina McGee announced that she was unexpectedly pregnant at the age of 54, she’s sharing some sad news with her fans. During an appearance on The Tamron Hall Show this week, Trina revealed that she has suffered a miscarriage with the pregnancy that she described as a “miracle.”

Trina opened up about her loss in an episode that aired Monday.
While talking to host Tamron, Trina said that she “did lose the baby” she was expecting with husband Marcello Thedford.
“It wasn’t expected, it was closer to the end of the first trimester,” she said on the show. “We don’t have any real reasons why. I was still so grateful to have the experience of being able to conceive at this age and this time.”
After hearing the news, Trina said it's 'kind of hard to get out of bed.'
“There’s so many things that come when you really want a family, and you want your family to be complete,” she said on the talk show. “It was very hard to face the fact that it’s not going to happen at this point in the junction.”
She did go on to say, however, that she doesn’t think she’ll be trying for a baby again and will instead leave it up to fate.
“The conclusion I came to is, we’ll just keep loving each other, if something happens that way, fine, but I don’t want to put another anxiety on myself. Sometimes it really is better to let go and let God,” she added.
Trina first announced she was pregnant in early June.
Sharing an Instagram post set to the song “Baby Love” by The Supremes, Trina shared that she was pregnant “at the tender age of 54” and would be taking a social media break in light of the news.
“Please bless us with your prayers for a safe delivery,” she wrote.

She shared a bump photo shortly afterward.
A couple of weeks after announcing the news, Trina shared a picture of herself with her husband, Marcello, kneeling down to kiss her bump.
Marcello was also on The Tamron Hall Show with Trina and admitted that it’s been “hard” for him to process their loss — a baby he’d already started calling Sunny.
“I’d talk to her stomach all night until I could fall asleep,” he said.
This would have been her first child with Marcello.
Trina is already a mom to three adult children, Ramia, Langston, and Ezra, though Marcello, who Trina married in 2008, said he still wants to have a baby he shares with her.
“We just had dreams and aspirations of what that would be like — creating this new tribe,” Marcello added. “It really did hurt.”
