Brad Pitt Claims Only 2 Female Celebrities Have Ever Made Him Starstruck

After such a long Hollywood career, Brad Pitt has gotten to work with some of the best actors and actresses of our time. But as an A-lister himself, does he ever get starstruck around other celebrities, even though many of them are technically his coworkers? During an appearance on Jason and Travis Kelce‘s New Heights podcast on July 2, Brad made a surprising confession: There actually are two very famous women he’s become starstruck around.

On the podcast, Brad chatted with the brothers about life as an actor – something Travis has gotten a taste of himself with a few roles under his belt at this point.

This led to Brad talking about two of his former costars who actually made him starstruck: Geena Davis and Susan Sarandon, whom he worked with on Thelma & Louise.

“When I first met Geena Davis and Susan Sarandon, I was. Yeah. I got over it quickly, though,” he said.

That’s not surprising. Who wouldn’t get starstruck around two women as talented as they are?

On the podcast, Brad also took the opportunity to share a funny story about a time when he decided to go “all method” for one of his earliest roles and eat an entire plate of beans served to his character in a scene he was filming.

“One of my first movies, I’m doing this little independent film. We’re shooting in this little tiny cafe. It’s full of the crew, so there’s about 60 people in there,” he said. “It’s hot. You can’t breathe. And my character hadn’t eaten for days and he gets his big plate of beans, first plate of beans and bacon.”

Not only did he eat the beans the first time they were served to him, but he went on to continue to devour the entire plate for four takes, and then, “something hit me.”

“I was stuck in this chair, and nature took its course. And then there was nothing,” he explained.

“And then suddenly, the entire crew, the most diabolical something descended on the crew in the whole room and they fled the cafe,” Brad continued. “Fled. So ever since then, I’ve paced myself.”

At least he learned an important lesson that day (and so did the other people on set with him, it seems).

Props to Brad for going all in on his role, but maybe it would have worked better if he was eating anything but beans.
